| Does it seem to everyone that the way the pylons are set up that our arc will be actually be three lines between the four pylons?

| I agree, it's fairly easy to eyeball the left and right fielders and to judge if they are over the line. Most of the time they are standing close to a pylon. The center fielder is so far away from the pylons that they probably have a hard time deciding for themselves where to stand. I think to make this work we need a fifth pylon dead centre.

| Just a bit of clarification. The pylons should be 110' from the bases (except home). If you decide to use a fifth pylon in dead centre, it should also be 110' from second base. Chris's diagram in the handout shows a curve in centre 110' from 2nd.
One team I played mentioned that they placed the pylon at 170' from home. This put's the pylon about 25' too close to second base.

| We need to clarifiy the 170' rule in September. Personally I think it is a bit too far. I noticed that the Edson tournament uses 150'.
While the 170 rule was designed to give the weaker batters some outfield space to hit into, I've notice a lot of power hitters using the 170' to drop in easy singles, or line drives.
