| Shark Attack....you play the Mpls Devils tonight in non-conference action. Tell the manager to contact me because they have yet to put their schedule on the website, etc. If their manager can't do it, someone from their team should volunteer.

| If you are in need of players, I would check out this guy who emailed my team about playing. Here's a brief summary of the information he sent to us:
Hello. My name is Cody Kise. I'm interested in joining a team for the 2005 season. I've been playing baseball all of my life. I can basically play any position. I'm going to be sending this out to a lot of teams. During the 8th grade, I was injured so I took that season off. I didn't play my freshman year of high school either. Instead I concentrated on weight lifting. Then my sophomore year, lacrosse came to my school, and I pushed baseball to the side again. I ended up being the starting goalie on my team, and I lead the team all the way to the state championships. We ended up taking 4th place. After the tournament, during the awards presentation. I was given the award for tournament MVP. I couldn't believe it. Then at the team award ceremony, I was given awards for team MVP, All-star, and All-state. During the summer league, when someone would ask me my name, they would immediately want me to play for them. When I was looking for a college team to play for > , I > emailed a few coaches with my name and my stats. The first response was from St. Thomas, so I played for them. I only made it three games before I got a concussion. Now I can't play lacrosse because the chance for a concussion is too great. Plus, in November, the new Minnesota professional lacrosse team called me and wanted to me to play goalie for their team. It was tough to do, but I had to turn them down. I've always dreamed of playing professional sports and that dream was handed to me and taken away in the same moment. I still have that dream. So I want to play baseball again. Concussions seem to be rare in baseball. I believe that my skills as a goalie will translate well to the baseball field. Getting something past me is pretty rare. In my softball league at work, I was a first baseman. My reflexes and flexablilty really paid off. My teammates had no idea how I was able to make so many catches. On some of the stretches I had to make I was basically doi > ng the > splits. My batting stance is like Ken Griffey Jr's, and I've developed into a slap hitter with power. I am willing to play and practice in any situation. Rain or shine, I'm on that field. I just want to play baseball again. > > So I'm writing to you today to see if there was any tryouts coming up for the team. If there is anything that you can do for me that would be greatly appreciated. > > Here are my stats: > Age: 20 > Height: 6' > Weight: 200lbs > Desired position: 1st Base > Other position: anywhere so I can play > > I was also wondering what kind of practice/game schedule your team has. > > Thank you very much for your time. > Cody Kise

I heard he's really good. You might have to explain the whole Shark thing to him. I hear Russian have lot of trouble with the whole plural/singular aspect of our English language...

| Hello there I received a message from a guy on my page that there are still some teams looking for players? Well if you've been to my site you'll have seen that I am all-world in everything that I do. Because I was a goalie in LaCrosse I feel that I would be a good catcher. Back when I was in 4th grade we would play pick up football and I was always the 1st one picked because of my ability to chuck the long bombs so I know that I would be able to throw about runners stealing with no problem. Back when we had track and field day I would win the blue ribbon in the 50 yard dash so obviously stealing bases would also be something I'm good at. Really there is no reason not to take me on as a player.....Only one thing...I can't play later than August 20 because I have to drive to Chicago to try out for the new season of "So you think you can dance." I have mastered "Dance, Dance, Revololution so its only a matter of time before I'm discovered. I promise that once I am famous I will not forget whatever team signs me and will donate at least $150 to help with costs to run the team. Please let me know......Thanks.

| Joe we've already visited this topic in previous posts....Mr. Bosch has 1/3 career victories as myself and has had to rely on flawless defense from his defense to achieve victories. You should quite right and get to the airport for your ride to Florida. Just please be careful so you don't hurt yourself.

Your guys can't leave your team fast enough! Mr. Burger was good but now he's gone too.....Are you going to strap them up?
