| SUMMER HEAT RACES BEGIN!! NEW NOVICE CLASS AS WELL
Whew… it’s been a while since i’ve posted but there was A-LOT! Going on.
Gentlemen I am happy to say we have a brand NEW! Layout which is AWSOME!
Expect lap times to be 14 and change for expert drivers. Also we have had more NEW beginning drivers coming out so it has been decided to have a novice class races as well.
Check out the thread on NOVICE CLASS on the website. This gives beginners a chance to sharpen their skills and compete with other new drivers along the same skill levels.
RACES EVERY 1st and 3rd SUNDAY of the month
ok we are going to start our SUMMER HEAT races which will be held every 1st and 3rd Sunday of every month. So it works out to be a race once every two weeks! This is great since it’s a more relaxed type of club racing and gives new-comers an opportunity for plenty of practice time as well. The races are SUNDAY single race events and the winner of that day takes home a trophie.
SPECTATORS ALWAYS WELCOME FREE!
Come join us may 20th,2007 as we kick off our club racing. Classes will be 1/10 sedan and 1/8 scale open. Track opens @ 9:00am for controlled practice qualifiers begin at 12:00 and races begin around 2:30 depending on turnout. Racing fee is $15.00 and that includes soda,hot dog and trophies. Tent,table space and chair available for first twenty drivers.

| Today was fun. We had enough people to run an A and B main. The new guys did very well. Most able to finish quals and the main. It will get better with time. Make sure to keep coming out. For those that could not make it, make sure to come next time. You missed a good time. I forgot his Name but cangrats to the winner of the B main, He ran a great race. Tino Post his name for me.

| Sunday was a lot of fun. Thanks to John for providing such a world class facility for us to race at. I felt very privilege to be among State if not world class racers such as D.J , Art , Andrew and others I may have failed to mention. The comradery and depth of knowledge available is priceless.
Thank you Dj for the kind words also thank you Art for the tech tips between races. Thanks to Ray and Brian for pitting for me.
To Tino enough can’t be said for patience and wrench work and tech tips.

| I wasn't even racing and had a great time.Thats what we will keep promoting at homestead,help each other out and we all win. I love to see the smile on Jermaine Roberts and vic martinos faces. It made it all worthwhile for me. People were all relaxed and just having fun. Look forward to the next one fellas and I congratulate all of you folks that took the time to come on out and support. | oh oh.. if Alex starts racing DJs got some competition. I heard Alex was secretly training in Costa Rica and meditating in the mountains with the monks! There were rumors his car was possessed by speed demons.

Heeheehee. Let the fun begin.
All kidding aside, I have been practicing RC meditation. I basically wear a blind fold, hold my radio and do a split, all while imagining running perfect lines. I would be getting better but I keep stopping the race after 5 minutes to have a beer and hang out with the guys. Go figure.
