Botelho vs Del Padre Smitty Has Quietly Put Together A Strong Team Im Saying Botelho Takes 2 Probably Run Ruling Them Atleast One Game
Pub vs VFW For Our Sake I Hope The Pub Atleast Splits But If Artie Has His Guys VFW Takes 2
PNA vs Baxters Even Tho Baxters Has Been Hitting Well They Also Havent Played A Top Team Yet The NAAAAA Shows Them What Its Like To See The Top Of This League The NAAAA Takes 2
Crowe vs A+ If The Crowe Doesnt Pound These Guys And Just Squeak By It Will B A Shock Crowe In A Spankin Crowe Takes 2
Jokes vs Stallions Stallions Have Gotten Better Im Just Not Sure If Its Good Enuf To Beat Jokes Im Sayin Jokes Takes 2 With Ease

| Hey Mac! Nice job covering for me....and here's how I see them playing out this week!
1. Harris vs. Jr's. This one is gonna be a scrap, Harris is a great young team and has lots of tournamnent experience. Jr's is ...well Jr's and they are always on top. If Jr's has all it's guy's I say Jr's takes two. IF not...I'd say it will be a split.
2. Coventry Firefighters vs. Sunset. This one is all Sunset Grille all the way.
3. Chris Moulton vs. Eaton: Moulton had a tough week last week and is coming back this week to lay the law down and takes two by mercy rule!
4. Bothelo vs DelPadre: Bothelo is looking like they are going to be the team to beat this year (other than VFW) DelPadre finally got it going last week though. Still, all in all, Bothelo should take two here.
5. PNA vs. Baxters: Both teams are playing very well this week. This all depends on whether PNA finally gets it's whole team together. If so it will be all PNA...if not Baxters could steal one here.
6. Stallions vs. Joques: Joques had a bad week last week and that spells trouble for my boys over at the Stallions. This one is going to be most heinous dudes and Joques layeth the smacketh down on their rooty poo candy asses.
7. Crowe vs. A+: Sorry mark, Crowe comes out and looks for revenge for dropping two last week. Unfortunately A+ is just another victim here. Crowe by shock and awe!
8. PNA vs. VFW: Well opening day JR's...then a very tough Joques, then PNA now VFW. The league is running the train on our asses here. All the monsters of the league in a row. We've been bailing the buckets and staying afloat so far and the ship is still here. Can we take another war this week? The Orange crush is the team that I pick to win it all again this year (like that is really sticking my neck out here) I'm happy if PUB stays competitive in this one...but I'm taking VFW to take the pair here.

| mert, not only did you pick against your team, you also called your team the pna. you do love the NAAAA a lot, perhaps you'd rather be there? i sense some problems with the pub. moore is single handedly destroying the confidence of the very men he recruited to win him games. you got a lotta splainin to do.

| Nah Smitty, no problems with the Pub...just good old fashioned ball breaking going on here. They want to throw me under the bus here because I picked the Naaa to sweep us, I'm just keeping it real. I'm picking the Orange Crush to take two as well, simply because I know they are a great team and we still have work to do. (Like getting all of our players to the games)
As for the Naaaa, great bunch of guys over there (even though I paid to have Ryno taken out) I still like the big lug!

| Artie, you don't need any poster board material to get your team going. I'm looking at this game to see how good Pub actually is. If we stay competitive I will be happy because it will show improvement. Baby Steps...Baby Steps! I hope you have your full compliment this week to test us out, we want to know if we are any better than we were last year.
After our games with you last year you came over and said to me: "Okay you guys are definately one of the most improved teams in the league, but you guys still aren't hitting the cut offs and are trying to shoot the runners down giving up more bases behind that runner" You made mention of our lineup and said that our one through 5 hitters were good and we died after that. I listened to everything you and Ryno said about us last year and tried to improve those areas. Now lets see if we can utilize the advice some of you guys gave us. (And by the way, I definately appreciate everything you said) That goes a long way with me. See you Sunday!

| I'm tired of Mertog's lack of faith in his team. Anyone looking for an over the hill (40+), seven time state champ, former B/C player ( when there were b's and c's), second team all-world in 2000 National ASA's, whose skills are diminshing but still not bad, who can't stand a coach who expects to lose EVERY game? Let me know.
Mertog sure we SHOULD get beat against these top teams, as they are full of talent, and we have only played a few games together....but expect to get beat...no thanks...I'm out...Is it too late to play with someone else in this league?
