Just wondering everyones thoughts on which league is the best? Perhaps some updates from the leagues would be great as well for this year.

-St Paul
-Skyline
-Park National
-Riverview

What happened to all the Shark haters? Maybe it was all of their own players ripping themselves and now that they don't have any of those guys they have nothing to say.

I don't know much about the Shark. I think they made the state tournament last year if I'm not mistaken which is good, but I also think they went out in their first two games which isn't so good. Did they lose a bunch of guys from last year? I see they haven't played many games yet this year. Crazy weather this spring.

Oh, and why are they the Shark and not Sharks. Isn't there more than one Shark on the team? Can't wait to watch the Minnesota Twin take on the Oakland A tonight.

That is funny Ricky about the Shark being singular - maybe any new teams are only allowed to be singular as well - Moose, Deer, Jelly Fish, etc.. How are the St Paul leagues shaping up this year - who are the powerhouses?

I think it is like the Stanford Cardinal name. Maybe the Shark isn't representative of the group (superorder Selachimorpha) of fish, with a full cartilaginous skeleton, a streamlined body plan with between 5 and 7 gill slits along the sides (most often) or side of the head (the first modified slit is behind the eye and called a spiracle), dermal denticles covering the body to protect from parasites, and rows of replaceable teeth in the mouth.

Maybe, like the Stanford Cardinal (deep red color, not a bird), the Shark refers to something completely unrelated to the ocean blue! Could they possibly be referring to a "poker shark?" I don't know. I'm just throwing this out there...

Regarding the standings. The standings are automatically updated when the teams enter their scores. Looks like there are several missing games, etc.

If the teams would also enter their books, league leaders (i.e. batting leaders, rbi, pitching....) would also automatically be tabulated by the site. This can be found on the Standings page under the drop down box "Category". Unfortunately, none of the teams are doing this, so the teams/leagues/players really can't accurately measure which league is better than the other (debatable).

If you go to http://www.leaguelineup.com/federal35 you will see how the 35+ league is utilizing League Lineup.

This site (minnesotahardball.com) is the best opportunity for each league to promote Class A baseball in Minnesota. It's not going to happen in the paper, so we need each team to contribute to the site.
