With all the upsets and strange events that even Nostradamus couldn’t predict, I had to call in professional help and consult with my mentors the great and mighty SWAMI and Carnac “The Magnificent for this week’s predictions. Let’s see what we came up with for this week’s match-ups!
1. Eaton vs. Club Joques: Who would of “thunk” it, Eaton taking two last week off the Big Red Machine NO WAY, but it happened in this bizzaro world of men’s softball. Eaton (The Naaaaa killer) will try again to pull off a huge upset this week. SWAMI, Carnac and Mertog are all in agreement and say it won’t happen; Joques is too strong for the Eaton boys and will take the pair.
2. A+ vs. Central Coventry FF: A bunch of rough and tumble firefighters who drag charged hoses around and save peoples lives against a bunch of guys that sit behind desks in Dockers and loafers all day…should be easy pickings for the firefighter’s right? Wrong! However the three of us disagree on this one, Mertog and Carnac pick A+ to take two while the SWAMI picks the firefighters to take one here. SWAMI just feels it’s wrong for firemen to lose to mortgage writers!
3. Pub vs. DelPadre: Pub hasn’t been on track since week two of the season, and is not living up to the early hype. Still SWAMI thinks this is the week for the Pub to shine and picks the Pub to take the pair. Carnac is calling for DelPadre to take the pair and Mertog is calling it a split.
4. Jr’s vs. PNA: Last year this would have been the game of the week, this year it is just two teams that were slow getting out of the gate and are waiting to break out. SWAMI is taking the Naaaa to take the pair here Carnac is calling for the split and Mertog is taking Jr’s to step up this week and take two.
5. Chris Moulton vs. Baxter’s: Chris Moulton is having their typical year and just flat out winning. Baxter’s thus far has been having a great year…but we all agree that Chris Moulton will take the pair in this one.
6. Wyld Stallions vs. Harris: SWAMI says he loved the movie but Stallions will drop two this week. He also says that don’t worry Bill and Ted, your music will unite the entire world in the future and that is more important than a couple of softball games. Carnac says it is not in the cards this week for the Stallions, and Mertog says that Harris is just too tough for a not so bogus and no longer heinous Wyld Stallions. Party on dudes!
7. Sunset vs. Crowe: Sunset has a nice little squad this year and is capable of stealing a few games if you’re not careful with them…take it from me I know. All three of us agree that Crowe is too tough this year and will take the pair here.
8. Game of the Week: VFW vs. Bothelo’s. Never mind game of the week, this is the game of the year here. In the immortal words of Carmine Maroni: “This means FARDIGAN WAR”. Going to be two extremely hard fought battles. SWAMI and Carnac are calling for the split, but Mertog is putting his nuts on the line and is calling for Bothelo’s to take both! That’s right…I’m not pussing out on this one and I’m calling for Ian and company to take care of business.
9. Bonus game VFW vs. CC: Maybe VFW will be mentally, emotionally and physically drained after two wars with Bothelo’s and could actually drop one here. Just kidding, isn’t happening. We all agree on this one and VFW takes the pair.

I was getting ready to respond with a " may a family of sand fleas make their nest in your nose" but since you so convincingly picked Botelho's over VFW..the team rewarded for not keeping a scorebook and not paying the league fee in 2005 by getting 5 exempt players..the team with the least talented coach..have you heard of the movie 300? If you havent seen it, its a movie about Arties batting average. VFW hits too much to lose two...I predict a split

1. Eaton vs. Club Joques: Well A Round Of Applause To Eaton For Knocking Off The NAAAAAA Last Weekend But Things Dont Get Any Easier I Think They Could Hang Around In One Of These Games But I Think Jokes Has The Guys To Take The Pair Jokes Take Both
2. A+ vs. Central Coventry FF: well its on an open feild i have no seen the fire fighters yet but knowing some of the guys on A+ Im Gonna Go With A + To Take 2
3. Pub vs. DelPadre: Havent Seen The Pub Much Since They Beat Us (Bastards) haha and I Watched A Bit Of Del Padre's Game Last Week There Playing Well Watch Out Mert Im Gonna Say Del Padre Steals One With That Right Feild Fence Split
