| Before I begin this weeks picks, I would just like to take a moment here to extend our deepest sympathies to Mr. Ricky Keenan and the rest of the players at the Crowe Bar. We are deeply saddened to hear of your loss and you are all in our thoughts and prayers. No words can ever be appropriate at such a time, but know that we are all thinking of you.
Things are definitely heating up now and the playoff race is becoming tougher and tougher each week. There will be some very good teams not making it this year because the level of competition has gotten so much better. Let’s check the slate and see what we have for this week.
1. VFW vs. Wyld Stallions: You know I love the Stallions, but sorry guys, we’re talking about the Orange Crush here. This should be a quick and not so painless knockout and Artie and the boys roll this week. VFW takes the deuce.
2. Baxter’s vs. A+: A+ gets an A+ for effort, but it won’t be enough against a very tough Baxter’s. Baxter’s by serious “beat-down” to make the playoff race even tougher to call.
3. Sunset vs. Eaton: Should be two very good games from two of the newcomer teams this year. Both have been pretty damn respectable for their first year. I think that Sunset is just a touch better and I see them taking the pair in this one.
4. Club Joques vs. Coventry Fire: Rob Hodde is the man, I can’t stress this enough. Under his master tutelage Club Joques will be bringing the noise, bringing the funk this week and easily dispose of CC by extreme punishment. By the way Rob thanks for the beers! You are truly the man, right up there with Rob Raymond and Ian “Young God” Smith! The Joques take the pair.
5. DelPadre vs. Jr’s: This one could get very ugly. Jr’s is now on a roll and seem to have righted the ship. I’m going with Grandpa Raymond and the boys over at Jr’s to win the pair here. By the way Ryno, Rob is distraught over the fact that you weenied out of the PNA tournament this year. No Ryno on the PNA squad, who will bring back the great stories of debauchery?
6. Crowe vs. Harris: Two great teams, this one will be a great one to watch. I’m going to have to call this one a split down the middle.
7.Bothelo’s vs. PNA: Once again these should be two great games here. Ryno, although he doesn’t know what a pierogi is, still by some strange miracle from God, does know how to swing a bat and hit the right field line like nobody I have ever seen. However, this week he and his NAAAA crew face Ian “The Legend of Coventry” Smith and a very tough Bothelo’s. Ian was born perfect and just like the Great White Shark, he has never had to evolve. I see this turning into a shootout, and I’m calling it a split.
8. Pub vs. Chris Moulton: I’m picking this as the game of the week this week simply because I always look forward to playing Chris Moulton. Yes, they are one of the best teams in the league, but we have always had lots of fun playing this team. I think it will be two hard fought games with lots of laughs. I’m just giving them a heads up, I have been working on “Magnum” all week and I’m ready to bust it out on Moulton, this new weapon should give us the edge we need to take both.

| Rob is mad because I am a good roomate and now he might get stuck with Tommy C. Unlike Tommy C. I don't snore loud. I flush after I shit instead of letting one stew in the pot. I bring my own toothpaste, q-tips, deodorant, and various other travel toiletries. And finally I don't stumble in at 3am louder than a construction site.
And I know what a pierogi is. Just not very popular to have them filled with cabbage. They are most commonly cheese or potato. Do I have to bring the wife on there to school you?

| dont worry mert im headin down with the naaaaa guys and a few of the harris guys are coming should b a good time im sure we will have some stories on the wya back up ... and rob told me he has come out of the dinosaur age and gievn in and bought a cell phone i know its crazy but he did haha ill have my picks later im running late for a clegg league game

| He took them all to Florida for winter worlds once and had a miserable trip. I thought he would have learned his lesson.

| 1. VFW vs. Wyld Stallions: VFW Takes 2 I Know There Is A Tournament This Weekend Not Sure If It Runs Into Sunday But Id Be Willing To Put Money On It... If They Play The Games VFW Takes Em
2. Baxter’s vs. A+: A+ isnt a bad team they just need some more experience and a few more bats in the lineup this could b a sticky game for baxters but i dont think that Chip and the boys will Let Up And For That reason i say baxters take 2
3. Sunset vs. Eaton: Ummm Mert Sunset is the old UNIONE/ Rosies / whatever other names they had theyve been playing for a lil while now eaton is def the best first year team ... and sunset is on a bit of a slide not sure why ? Im Gonna Go With A Split As well on this one
4. Club Joques vs. Coventry Fire: Im Pulling For The Fire Fighters But Thats Basically Only Cause Itd Help Me If Hodde And The Guys Dropped One haha But Im Gonna Say Jokes Takes 2 With Ease
5. DelPadre vs. Jr’s: These Will B 2 Fun Talkin Trash Games Between Teams That Get Along Really Well, I Can Personally Say I Will B Hung Over, Freinds Only Get Married Once ( And If They Get Divored And Married Again Im Not Going haha) With That Said I Think JR's Takes 2 But Not Without A Scare In Both Games Two Hard Faught Games
6. Crowe vs. Harris: This Will B A Really Good Game Which Also Has A Big Effect On The Standings Here Someone Loses 2 Here They Could Be Droppin Down To 8 I Think The Crowe Guys Show Up And Hit The Hell Outta The Ball And Split Here .... Each Game I Think Will B Lopsided 1 team wins big then the other team big
7.Bothelo’s vs. PNA: PNA Seems To Be Playing Some Good Ball, Id Like To Say A Split But I Think Smitty And Bothelos Take Both Sorry Ryno
8. Pub vs. Chris Moulton: Id Have To Call This One Right Down The Middle, Both Very Solid Teams Depending On What Feild They Play At If Its At Hunters I Think That The Pub Could Drop Both If At washington oak I Say A Split
