| This is for all the players who have not been informed by their respective managers of the playoff format for 2007.
The bottom four teams will play a play-in game for the right to be the 7th and 8th seeds.
7 vs 10
8 vs 9
The next round will start the best 2 of 3
We will seed high-low the rest of the way.

| I would like to point out that Rodney has only been to 1 game for the A's. I dont know if that is true, but I hope it is.

| The excessive dry weather may allow us to move up the play-in games to be played before the Labor Day holiday.Presently there are two weekend dates and four night dates where no games are scheduled.If we do move up, we could start quarterfinal games after the holiday. This could benefit in two ways. It would allow the play-in victors to reset their pitching for the next round. It could also reduce a potential conflict with the golf tourney. We should be very close to the final round by the date of the golf event, which might necessitate a schedule adjustment. We would definately suspend play for Sept 22.
