TOPIC: Mertogs Picks: Week 14 |

| Here we are in week 14, and things have really gotten interesting in the playoff race, but more importantly I only hold a 5 game lead on my partner in crime Mac. So to ensure that I beat Mac in my predictions this week, I have consulted the greatest minds ever to walk the planet, Dr. Stephen Hawking and Dr. Albert Einstein. Dr. Hawking being the most noted mind in quantum mechanics, and Einstein being the father of the theory of relativity.
Neither has anything to do with softball, but they are “smart bastards”, lets see if their help gives me the edge over Mac.
1. Pub vs. A+ Mortgage: You know I’m going to have to go out on a limb and say that the Pub takes two in this one. A+ has been tough for a first year team, but I think I can get enough of my guys to show up this week to take the pair in this one. Pub takes two by absolute carnage. Its crunch time and this is our Thermopylae!
2. Stallions vs. Baxter’s: Once again sticking my nuts on the chopping block here, I’ll take Baxter’s to take the pair here. Baxter’s is looking to slip into the door for the playoffs and I don’t think the Stallions can stop them here.
3. Sunset vs. Bothelo’s: Intriguing match up here seeing as how Bot’s dropped a deuce last week. Sunset is pretty good, but I think Bothelo’s rises from the pelting they took last week and comes with a vengeance to take the pair.
4. Jr’s vs. Club Joques: Two monsters here playing for a playoff berth, I think Jr’s is kicking it in high gear at the right time and swat the Joques ball out of the playground. Jr’s by pure bully tactics.
That is of course unless my boy Mac has too many Natty ices the night before and becomes Natty the barbarian.
5. Harris vs. Eaton: I have said it all year long that Harris would be one of the teams to start pulling away. I stand by that statement and take Harris to take both in this one. Harris takes this one with sheer brutality only displayed by the likes of the boys from “A Clockwork Orange”.
6. DelPadre vs. Central Coventry: DelPadre takes two in this one rather easily and sends the boys from the Fire Department into the deep dark chasms of the softball abyss.
7. My game of the week is between VFW and Crowe bar: It’s going to be two great games but I think the Orange Crush takes the pair in this one and moves on. Nobody bring up Artie’s batting average again, he’ll get all worked up and start yelling at me again in CAPITAL FUCKING LETTERS. Artie, what the fuck bro do you type with your forehead?
To my good buddy and nemesis Ryno….this is what you have to look forward to once you get married, so pay attention closely to this warning.

| mert we also need a cm/crowe prediction and an eaton/wyld prediction since they are playing this week....
also, the crowe/vfw game is the 1200 at foster with the late start i wouldn't be surprised to see a crowd there since its merts pick for GAME OF THE WEEK

| Mert This is a tough week things could get really jumbled up in the playoff race after some of these games. But i think we all know the predictions are more important, id like to say good luck but you and i both know we want to have the title of highest win percentage for predictions. Which means some of my picks this week and next might seem a bit far fetched but i need to gain some ground on my superhero freind ( which one do you want to be gary or ace?) and why are they holding hands? they must be really really happy hahaha
I hope einstein and hawking know more about being smart, instead of knowing sunday morning softball i need to gain some ground.
Pub vs A+ Well on paper this looks like a matchup of the predator vs underdog boy id love to take underdog he has a really cool cape
i just think the predator is so hungry
And the PUB is the predator and will eat A+ up until there about a zzzzzzzz Pub takes 2
Stallions vs Baxters Id love to go out on a limb here and say the stallions have the power
But i think that even heman himself couldnt beat baxters with the stallions baxters take 2
Sunset vs Botelhos These are a pair of games that i think sunset could possibly pull off an upset of the # 1 seed but this week its just not gonna happen smitty and his boys are fed up with the picks going against them so they take 2
JR's vs Jokes i will not be in attendance for these 2 very big games for both teams, im joining some of the PNA guys, Harris Guys,Myself and Rob Raymond In PA going for a PNA Championship.
Jokes is a very solid team and i think these will b two of the toughest games we have had all year but im gonna go with my boys at JR's to take the pair Slider and my other wingmen will carry us to these victories

Del Padre vs CCFF This will not be pretty, fun to watch or hell even to play but im gonna say del padre takes 2 in a laugher they dont even need a cartoon to reenact it
VFW vs Crowe well this is were my picks get a lil fishy maybe i know some inside information or maybe im just stepping out on a broken limb but im goin to say Crowe Takes 2
i know i was just as shocked writing it as u were reading it
Eaton vs Stallions Eaton is a strong first year team and will only get better i think that they will take both with ease as long as they hit if it is down to a homerun or defensive play stallions could steal one but im saying eaton takes 2
Crowe vs CM well i went with crowe in the VFW game and as many of u might have thought im picking CM to take the pair in these games demonti and his guys were fired up last weekend i dont see them dropping another game this week

 who will this be jackson? demonti? goodwin? chaps? who knows CM takes 2 and i gain on good ole mert and mert im gonna try and turn into the budlight barbarian while im down in PA maybe i can get some real life pics on here of that HAHAHAH GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE THIS WEEK

| Okay CM vs. Crowe....interesting games here, I'm going to call for a split between Moulton and Crowe...just because I'm being cautious in my run with Mac.
I'm calling for a split between the Stallions and A+ as well!

| Oops, my bad...Stallions vs. Eaton...that is a little different, I'll take Eaton in both of them as well. I have to agree with Mac on that one.

Just letting you know Stallions are playing Baxters, and Eaton was supposed to play Harris and these Eaton vs harris is postponed until last week of season.

| hahaha artie come on now i cant release the insiders info unless of course people are willing to pay for it. | Mertog, tired of you busting our team's balls. I would have showed up this week but I won't be there, gonna go play a little ball down in Cobb County Georgia. Let me know if we make the playoffs.
