Yes, please send scores and info to the Forum as soon as information comes in. There is not enough time to enter the match-ups and outcomes during the playoffs.

Thanks,
Jim

According to Lakers website, Wesley Homes won 4-1. Dustin Carlson struck out 17 for the Homies.

Carlson hits every corner with every pitch, even when he doesn't hit the corner. At least that is what the Laker website had to say about him. They really sounded like a bunch of whiners in the write-up. I wonder if the rest of the team cares how the author is representing his team or do they want to come across as a bunch of pamper wearing baby?

Carlson throws hard, possibly touching 90 on occasion. Good curve ball. He has a tricky delivery that hides the ball well from the batter. Very slow to the plate, which means first move base stealer can go all day long. Ricky, you will probably see him in the Park National/Riverview All-star game if you are watching or playing in it.

Does or did this Carlson play college ball?

He has been in the league for a long time. I believe he had a scholarship with the Gophers, but left school and ended up pitching for North Hennepin.

Face Carlson twice this year and he is a very good pitcher, but doesn't throw harder than 82-84.
