Subject: Class B Modified Pitch State Championship
The Western Area ASA of PA District 9 will once again host the play of the Class "B" ASA of PA 10 Player Modified Pitch State Championship Tournament on August 11 - 12 at the Lincoln Avenue Field Complex in Vernon Twp. - Meadville, PA
We currently have only 20 teams entered in the double elimination event with 9 teams entered from Eastern Pennsylvania. The Deadline for entering has been extended to Wednesday, August 8, in order to allow more Western Area Class B Teams an opportunity to consider entering the tournament.
It will be greatly appreciated if you can forward this information concerning the new extended deadline to the individuals or teams in the league or leagues in your area to notify them of the new extended opportunity to enter the tournament and to urge them to consider doing so. This tournament has always fielded 30 or more participating teams in the past. We need to make every effort possible to reach those number again this year in order to guarantee the play of future Class B 10 Player Modified Pitch State Championship Tournaments here in Western Pennsylvania.
