I didn't know how to get my message out to everyone, other than to use this forum. The past week and a half have been a very difficult time for me as well as my family. The one thing that has helped me through is the amazing support I have received from so many people. I am truly touched by all the flowers and donations we have received from the teams as well as words of support. Pat loved the game and this league has been a part of our lives forever. He truly enjoyed the competition and the great people he met along the way. I know Pat hoped Gavin would continue his love for the game as well and someday play in the league. I hope I can continue to support Gavin in that quest. As Pat would say (or think)- don't whine out there, play your best, and have a great time.

Thanks again,
Jennifer Holmes

Jennifer, thank you. That post made our State Tourney loss tonight seem so much less important. Thank you for putting things in perspective. I'm so sorry for your loss.

Jennifer.....wow! You take the time to make a post of huge magnitude and here are the rest of us bantering and raving on like a bunch of school kids.

Yes we are having fun, and obviously the game is still fun for all of us........but there is not one single person who has the slightest idea of what it is like to have been going through what you and your family have enudred the past several days.

Again....."wow" is all I can say. You must be an incredible person!

Thank you for being who you are and giving us all a dose of reality when viewing things in the grand scheme.

With all due respect to you and yours.
