| Game 1 was a sloppy, wet game, but both sides were determined to get games in. Conlon and Malyk went at it, and neither had their best stuff, but for Conlon, that combined with some sketchy defense, put them behind 4 midway through.
A Leyland 2 run triple got the Bulls back in it, and with the score tied 8-8 in the top of the 7th, Swagers hit a 3 runs shot that put the Bulls up 11-8. In the bottom half, Conlon got the first out and then took a comebacker off the hand. He tried to stay in game, but when his first injury/warmup pitch sailed over the catcher, Brad Guy came on to lock down the save.
In Game 2, Pitman made his first OSBA start and pitched well enough to keep his team in game. Moose came on for final inning to preserve a narrow 8-7 Bulls victory.
Bulls move to 17-5 on year and depending on results of Majors games, may have clinched the W1.
