| Hopkins over Park 4-2. Edge looked good at 2-0 in the 5th but my buddy left.
Looks like the great St. Louis Park will not be beating the Millers this year in the tourney. I guess that means Millers walk, since Park's the only team that can beat them.
Or maybe Hopkins can, or Wesley, or anyone left since its baseball.

| Hopkins threw a lefty against Park who was pretty crafty, even though he probabley wasn't old enough to drive himself to the game! He had a mean change-up that kept the Park hitters off balance. The umps did blow a couple crucial calls that hurt Park. The Berries will have a tough time trying to swing their way out of the loser's bracket, but they have some players.

| "Crucial calls", one maybe... didn't hurt us too much but probably cost us a run. We still lose 4-3 because of my bad play. Still not sure what pitch in the sequence the ump called a ball let alone two of them.
No complaints on the home plate umpire he didn't miss a pitch other than the AB mentioned above in my opinion. The zone was actually more in our favor for the type of pitchers throwing.

| Hey, I don't know what this whole identity crisis is about but to make things easy this is the catcher from Hopkins. As for the games, the homeplate ump was solid, didn't give much on the corners (which usually hurts our guy) and was questioning that base ump for that rediculous call. I will give you guys the one obvious blown call but other than that he kinda went back and forth making bad calls on both sides. As for that confused count chris, I was on second and couldn't believe it was only 2 strikes at first. Honsetly, you even started to convince me that it was 3 because I nearly started walking into the duggout. Anyway, I don't think the game was decided on that play alone and I hope we can continue to represent the riverview for a few more games. Oh and as stunning as it may be, the pitcher is legal to drive... along with 3/4ths of the rest of the team.

| Conley...Cobb is not me, I am the great Houdini. I am the man who cheers for park, loves Chase and Parker and thinks Paulson swings out of his behind.. Great season guys! I really enjoy playing ball with you and against you guys.

| If I was Schmitty I'd be highlighting my tips or buying a new neon green wrist band right now. I'm just some pitcher on the bench.

| Primo, the 2nd strike / 3rd strike had nothing to do with the umpire or out come of the game. That's all my fault for not knowing the count. I should have known the count I'm the guy closest to the umpire and the guy with the best view of the scoreboard. Even so I make a block on a pitch I knew would be in the dirt and it's still a 3-2 win for you guys.
I'm not sure how I get a "BUT" out of a 3-2 loss. In reference to your other e-mail there have been some great plays, and a lot of not so routine plays, in games we've played by our guys and guys against us. Case in point, you're second baseman made a hell of a play on what would have probably tied the game, Mike D. made a great play in the hole; our guy was out so it was a great play. He didn't have to throw the ball.
Many plays in our games could have changed innings a lot. In our game against the Angels Lindstrom made a diving play on a hit by Ode up the middle that might have ended our chances to win the game. GREAT SWING by the way Ode your path to the ball was perfect...PERFECT!!!
Anyway good luck Primo you'll be fine without Davis one hitter does not make a team. You may just have to play a little different is all.
