| Congrats to the Millers on a very nice season. Fifty something wins and a title is flat out impressive.
Also I would like to thank the 4 Class A league commissioners, Bob Smith, Shawn Vellick, Matt Laskota and Robin Johnson for planning and facilitating a very nice state tournament. Thanks also go to the Schleppers, Kevin Hoy and Bill McGuire for the use of their fields on literally "last minute" notice. Many thanks also go to the many volunteers at Schlepper Field, Midway Stadium, Veterans Stadium and McGuire Field. Please forgive me for not remembering some of the other names of people that helped make this rain lengthed tourney successful. Your work is/was greatly appreciated.
If any one would like to see things change or remain the same I encourage you to get involved in the planning process for Class A tourney for 2008. Ideas, research and leg work for fund raising and field usage is needed. The next meeting is in October. See you there!
I hope the rest of you all have a great off season. Take care of yourselves and your families.
