| Well The Rams came out and played great in the first half....came out and played even with Perry Central in the first half ending in a 14-14 tie....but the flood gates opened up at the end of the 3rd and the 4th and the final score doesn't exactly tell you how the game went....I was impressed at how The Rams actually stood toe to toe with Perry and actually made them punt a few times in the 1st half where as in the past few seasons Perry would only punt when the JV was in or late in the game when they were trying to kill the clock...If you are a Rams fan you have to come away dissapointed that you didn't score a couple of times the Rams had the ball with good field position and could've scored that would've put them up 28-14 or so and make Perry sweat a little more...now as for the offensive side of the ball I thought The Rams would use more of what they ahve used in recent weeks against Perry but you got some but not all....you had them run a little option which was nice but if you mix that in from the Shotgun and use a shuffle pass or a Jet Sweep or somethin to where the defense is scratching their heads then mayube you could've gotten them more confused....I didn't quite understand why they tried to run the fullback up the middle when they had ol' Akebono Piper in the middle of the Defensive Line at 375lbs. although it oculd've worked if the fullback would have started up the middle and cut to different gaps in the offensive line...the passing game was effective but would've liked too see it more in the offense....you pass 25 or so times and run the Spread Option you got Perry wondering and confused....the Defensive was solid in all throughout the game except in the 4th when sjhort field position combined iwth 2-way players kinda got the Rams with the deer in the headlights look...Perry really didn't break any huge runs you would think they would...and there were some people who thought they would...you really would have to be pleased at how the defense actually changed Perry's game focuse from run firt to pass first...shows you how good the defense was doing in the game....anyway if The rams played this good against Perry then they can play that good against Clarksville in sectional and bring home a win....anyway hell i'm out....
