| With the one seed in District 1 going to the Troy Colts they are a good pick to win twice at home against Detroit Henry Ford and then the winner of the Lathrup/Waterford Mott matchup. District 2 will most likely produce a Cousino/Denby final with the nod going to Cousino producing a wide open shoot out between the Colts and Cousino for the Region 3 final. Having seen both these teams play I think the big playmakers at Troy will produce a Region 3 Championship.

| Dont let Cousino's 9-0 record fool you, the 7-2 Troy team is the better team, They are very similar teams and should produce one of the more exciting games of the tourney.
I think the Troy D is the difference maker in this matchup (if it happens.
Very exciting to see Troy back up for a year after being down since their great teams of the 90's.

| Indeed it is nice to see Troy compete again. I graduated Clarkston in '01 with a deep hatred of the Troy Colts. My senior year was the 2nd of Clarkston's two consecutive runs to the D1 semis. Troy was THE game we cared about every year. Lake Orion was no more than a pesk at the time (though beginning to be a competitive pesk by the time I graduated). It never crossed my mind that Lake Orion would sustain the run that they have and actually usurp Troy as Clarkston's biggest rival. It still bothers me to this day that my brother's wife is a Troy Colt. Hopefully Troy will stay good and the rivalry will rekindle!

Troy/Clarkston was all that mattered in our day, it was the game of the year, every year, no questions asked.

| i know that its not an accepted idea for the most part, but in reality. i think that the waterford mott team can manage not only to pull out a win against lathrup at home, but go to troy (assuming they win) and ATLEAST give them a good run for their money.
