| I like those divisions much better than the current ones, the crossovers wil work themselves out.

| I agree, however... I'm totally clueless why Troy Athens and West Bloomfield are being punished once again and Farmington Harrison and Rochester Adams are once again somehow being warmly rewarded!?!?
Is it that the ADs are totally blind to what their doing or do they actually believe that anyone interested in OAA football is clueless to the preferential treatment they dish out. At least lately, on a yearly basis.
This just is NOT FAIR people....

| I dont know much behind it other than Athens and WB are quite a bit bigger than Harrison & Adams...
I'm not so sure either, maybe so the "top" team arent beating up on each other and knocking each other out of the playoffs...
Making sure Adams & Harrison do get in for D2 & D3.

| This is awesome, it's about time Rochester got a chance to really show Stoney who has the better football team. Although i've got friends on Stoney i can't wait till we hand it to them and they quit braggin

| OAAScouts, What are he restriction on cross over games. Does the OAA and 1 other conference make an agreement or...is it less restrictive with ,say, Adams, Harrison, Clarkston, and Lake Orion negotiating a deal with the best team they can find say from the MAC, Mega, or CHSL conferences(or any local conferences of interest). While some of the less competitive OAA teams are allowed to find a better match for their play from the surrounding area? Just curious as there are a number of great sugesstions from posters on some geat x over matchups for OAA teams!

| It all depends Boon... all of the scenerios you mention can happen. About 10 years ago the OAA and MAC got together with a conference crossover agreement. I think that the OAA Blue was left to fend for themselves last year. 1st come, 1st serve....

| should mix things up quite a bit in the blue, with three teams coming down and only one moving up
hopefully the crossovers work out a little better for them, as I know personally how those long bus rides out to an unknown hostile crown can be

| This divisional alignment likes to be very well done. Regarding the crossover games, I think the OAA should stay in conference and not seek crossovers with other leagues. It would be almost impossible to create any kind of schedule balance in those crossover games. It appears that the AD's are preparing to add a couple of new teams to the conference, I'm hearing Grand Blanc and Davidson. Should this occur the one remaining crossover game could be accomplised the same way it was this year. Sounds like the off-season league meetings will be interesting.

| playing for wb, i'm a little worried when you say wb is being punished. are you talking about moving a great southfield lathrup team into their already tough conference, or is there more to it?

| I'm not sure, but i take it as WB and Athens are better suited for the White and Adams and Harrison are better suited for the Red. I cant say I disagree, as an outsider to the WB & Athens programs I would have to honestly say Adams and Harrison are better teams... as are most of the teams in the Red... thats what I get from it.

| Simple... with next year's format...
1) Adams and Harrison would "fit" better with or deserve to play in the ?
A. OAA Red B. OAA White C. OAA. Blue
2) West and Athens would "fit" better with or deserve to play in the ?
A. OAA Red B. OAA White C. OAA. Blue
My point lies there within...
I said... 1) A 2) B

| i think adams and harrison are good enough to contend with the big boys (OAA RED) not saying that OAA WHITE is a bad conference but i think they would actually have some closer games, more so adams especially since they put up 389 points in the regular season and their closest OAA WHITE game was lathrup where adams won by 22....again im not ridiculing OAA WHITE or OAA RED i just think that adams and harrison would tested more in the OAA RED

| How about trying to create a Red and White division that have parady with each other not just among there own division. Loading the Red conference with every powerhose program in the OAA produces a lopsided schedule for the Red and a free pass to the playoff's for the White. Enrollment is only one piece of the equation not he magic bullett. Some of the smaller schools in the OAA have very competitive programs and that should be a consideration when realignment is being considered.
