| This week's District 1 final between the Colts and Chargers creates another OAA crossover game. Last year these two teams met in the regular season with Troy winning late in the fourth. In that game David Pardun did not play (missed the entire 06 season) as well as two way starter Joel Brockberg. With Troy's stingy defense and their explosive offense led by QB/Hamilton, RB/Pardun, WR-RB/Gallina the Chargers will have there hands full. An interesting footnote to this game is the fact that the Southfield Bluejays head coach and offensive coordinator are former Troy coaches and handed the Chargers one of thier worst defeats of this season. I wonder if they might be sharing some X's and O's with the Troy coaching staff. Hmmmm! Look for Troy to advance to the Regional Championship against Warren Cousino or Detroit Denby.

| This is a tough one to call! I just think Lathrup wins it. I would not be surprised if Troy wins ...but again I am leaning towards SL. They've got some great talent and it almost impossible to defend against some of their wide outs. Anyway time will tell!

| Gotta have someone to get those wideout the ball...
Troy should win this game.
I'm thinking 27-20.

| Troy 48 Lathrup 14, enough said! Troy will now move on to the Regional Championship against Warren Cousino this Friday at 7 pm. I expect Troy's team speed and explosive offense to out score Cousino.
