| i know its a few months off but i want to get the info out so we can have plenty of time to think about it. i think we should be able to take at least one pitch when we are batiing. so i vote we start with a 2-1 count this year instead of a 2-2 count. reasons being that i think we shoud be able to take a strike before we have to swing. last year there we guys who would get up there, take a strike and go sit back down. it is preached that spring league is for getting the kinks out and getting some swings in. taking a strike and sitting down obvioulsy isnt getting some swings in. and if you swing at a shitty pitch in fear of it being a strike, you arent helping yourself get a good swing down. having the opportunity to take atleast one pitch, ball or strike, then knowing the next pitch will be in play i think will make it more fun. we can also do the time limit of one hour no matter what to keep the games going on time. start voicing what you think about this.

| Yeah I think that is a good idea to, except for one rule. If you are a Clubber you get all 3 strikes becouse they don't play on weekends and this will help them get more looks. ANNA MOOSE OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

| I have to run the league to not have a problem with it? Plus, there may be some changes in how the league is ran next year and things aren't finalized yet.

| From my understanding, the people that run the c-dale leagues get paid. Don't know If that's true . I think there should be a set dollar amount from each team automaticly goes to each respective guy or "person in charge of that teams league" whatever money that is I don't know. ..But Marion softball will be in trouble if they (& WE ) don't start paying somthing to the people(whoever it is) that run it. No such thing as Free Lunch !! You get what you pay for.

| Couple small things. Cdale is ran by the park district, ours isn't. So the money that gets paid to Dana for running it comes from the park district and not league fees.
I'm with Lester in that I've always just done it to help out. I like doing it on a volunteer basis, especially when others are helping out/doing their part. It's a lot for 1 or 2 people to do.
Lester/robbie, John Abney and myself are going to be working out a few things after the new year and will probably have something for next year. If this works out, it will be very nice for us. League will still basically be the same, but each league will be independent from the other leagues. Men's vs Co-ed for instance. COMPLETELY seperate. But we'll see.
Happy holidays all.

| I just think that the people that ran the leagues last year took way to much bashing .To put time into something for volinteer sake & when someone has to work late or forgets to post about somthing , STATS or whatever then the bashing (Guarantee it will happen again.) will start! Then you guys that run it(good job last year!)will get all mad & say " I don't get paid to do this" & start looking up IP addresses cuz the chicken sh*t guys that will be complaining wont leave their name!! I hope changes for next year , DO HAPPEN !!

| Sorry,rOBBIE, I'll fix it next time, lol. ;)
The reason that I don't want to get paid simply comes from possible liability in my eyes. I don't want to deal with it. I just want everyone to be happy and be realistic with their issues.
