| To My Little Homecoming Princess:
It doesn't seem like it has been 15 years since you came into this world. You came home on Christmas day---6 days old and a big 3 lbs 14 oz. You were such a small bundle of joy then, and you still are now too. I am so very proud of you in school as well as out of school. You have absolutely everything going for you. Keep giving 110% in everything you do. It will pay off. The harder you work and the more barriers you have to overcome, the stronger it will make you.
You Mean So Much to Me, Daughter
Sometimes I can hardly believe that the girl I see when I look at you used to be my little girl. Where did the time go? How did the moments turn into years that disappeared behind us at such great speed? I am in awe at the changes that have taken place in you, and sometimes it saddens me because that part of my life is over. Yet I also feel the happiness and pride in having a daughter who is growing up, and nothing can dull or dampen the wonderful memories I have of you as my little girl--- memories that still bring laughter and delight, a warmness of heart, and tears to my eyes. The pride I have in you and the love I feel for you have continued to grow, much like you have. You are even more precious to me now than you were before. If you could look inside my heart and see the love there, if you could feel its strength and depth, then you would know that you have fulfilled my life in ways no other person ever could.
