| I went to the track on Saturday. It was a very pleasant surprise. It seems that while everybody was celebrating Christmas some of Santa's Elves sneaked into Homestead RC Raceway. They painted the infield sections of the track green and then added red and white striping to simulate berms in all of the turns. These improvements not only make the track look very good, they also seem to help a lot of the racers stay in the racing line. A big thanks to all of Santa's helpers for these improvements.
Some photos were taken and added to the Photo Album section, it is titled Track Layout 12-29-2007. Those racers planning to attend the 2008 Happy New Year Gran Prix will be pleasantly surprised with all of the track upgrades.
