Yes, we are practicing BOTH nights (Tuesday and Friday). Tuesday is to makeup for last Friday when we missed because of the gym being closed due to the Atlanta competition. Friday is our regular practice and Saturday is our competition.

First, I thought mandatory practice was the class before the event, now all of a sudden we have two mandatory practices? Second, what is it with the time change? We go out of our way to make sure our kid is there for the Tuesday make-up class only to find out it has been rescheduled again. Do you really think everyone lives on the computer to check this message board? There has got to be a better way to let people know. How about a pone call we have a team coach and a team mother. On such short notice a phone call would have been appreciated.

The message about the extra practice and the time was posted for a week before the actual practice. And when your child is on a competitve team all practices are essential as the coaches need to make changes to the routine especially those right before a competition. Obviously your child is on a COMPETITIVE team not a RECREATIONAL team.

the importance of checking the message board was clearly discussed at orientation and in your packet. It is your responsibility to ensure that your athlete gets the most of her/his teachings that are offered. Let's remember that there is a vast amount of athletes for the Ultimate Staff to be responsible for. As a parent it is easier for us to be responsible for 1 0r 2 . I do appreciate your point about the phone call that could of been made by the team mom.
A simple suggestion for the above to be done, is so much more appreciated that an angry message on a place that is available to help all of us to communicate.
(I want to clarify that I am not a staff member), I am a MOM that can attest that all suggestions are taken seriously, as Bobby and Sherry are always open to new ideas that can only improve your experience at Ultimate Cheer and Dance.
