Well with the switch to USSSA some teams may be left in the lurch as far as the higher performance bats. Well when I return to Rhode Island in a couple of weeks I will be selling a Demarini Juice. It'd be a great team bat. It was only used for one NSA fall ball season by an entire team, and some batting practicer. Besides normal wear from hitting the ground and scratches from going in and out of a bat bag, it's in perfect condition. It's 26 oz. but has a heavy enough end load to drive through the ball. Stiff handle flex and soft barrel feel. I'm asking $100 o.b.o.

Lost in the discussions about the switch to USSSA are the fools like me who went out and got nice ASA bats during the season anticipating elimination of the Freak. I felt like a jackass using a teammates Freak during the season so I thought I should get my own ASA bat. Now I have an ASA Worth Jeff Hall that will be collecting dust in my basement...or be headed to EBAY.

Oh well, that will teach me to plan for the future.

Guapo, no need to dump the bat, just use it...the Jeff Hall is an excellent bat with great pop to i, just not very durable in my opinion as I watched my catcher shatter two of them this fall ball season.

Thanks. I really like the bat. In fact, the reason why I got it is because I use the USSSA version (the red one) at Clegg. I'm not complaining, I was just making a joke about how planning ahead doesn't always pay off.

Honestly, I took BP after the season a couple of times with Ian, Consadine, and a few other guys and I barely noticed a difference on how far the ball carried with the ASA and USSSA versions of the bat.

If your bat is the dark blue Jeff Hall Mayhem bat, you have no issue. With the low compression balls still being used thats a great bat because the barrel doesn't have much flex, thusly working well with the mushier softballs we use. I have that same bat, and my only gripe is it takes a long time to break in, and I've heard bad things about Worth's durability in cold weather. Long story short, wanna buy a Juice?

Dean you shouldnt be allowed to sell anything even if it is Ebay. If Dean touches anything it should be considered contaminated. Ever seen Dean's typical stance after a game? One hand on a beer AT ALL TIMES and the other hand bounces between itching his asscrack and holding his johnson.

RyMan...I actually think Worth bats have a pretty good reputation when it comes to durability. My USSSA Jeff Hall is going on it's third year and I even used it in a couple of Turkey Trots. One good thing about buying the blue ASA version last season is that it is pretty much broken in by now.

Ernie, I won't even try to deny the beer at all times part of your post. Anyone who knows me would back you on that one. However, I wasn't scratching my ass crack with the other hand. I was trying to push my hernia back into my ever expanding belly.

Pretty shrwed of me to pitch BP to all you VFW/Prata Bar guys last weekend. Now I know everyone's weak spots. Of course you already know mine...anything up the middle!

That breaks my heart, Smitty. I sold you 3 bats a couple of years ago and I gave you a great price and didn't rip you off at all I don't think. But my bat's already broken in nicely and its HOT. It can also be yours for $100 o.b.o.

That's fine, Smitty. But some people like to own a bat of their own, especially if they can get it for $100 o.b.o. This offer is for anyone anyways. As a matter of fact, to make it more attractive, I'm dropping the price to $70 o.b.o.! That's right, I'm like a crazy used bat salesman. Except it's not actually junk.

I don't care what reason someone buys it for, it'll be a steal on their part.

As far as the best bats for USSSA, I'm hearing the most buzz about the Miken Recoil and the Worth Mutant. I also recommend the Miken NRG 600. I have 2 NRGs, one ASA and one Utrip. I swear by them, and with them being last year's Miken model, they're cheap. And to plug my buddies at kellysultimatesports.com, they're taking reasonable offers on all bats.
