well i dont know why you can do it but other teams cant? u lurred jr's guys away so we were forced to break up. and now the guys who didnt leave dont get to play together cuz theres not enuf spots on other teams. i dont know who called and tried getting players from u or anyone else. but i know ive called guys former jr's guys asking what there plans were cause they had a spot with me if they wanted them. i def didnt call any vfw guys but theres no doubt the harris would take goat and ernie in a second, artie your a great coach and you run a fair team and are open about shit. like i said i dont know who made calls or approached your guys but theyd b stupid not to. you try lurring neil and lags away for tournaments last year when u knew full well our team was playing, thats more of a dick move than askin a player before the season starts. and if the stallions/ dionne/smitty or anyone are calling any guys you would have to think to call your team first. your sunday morning team could contend in most state tournaments. who wouldnt wanna try to add a vfw member to there squad flat out tons of talent.

Mac your way off we have been talking about Jrs breaking up and merging with the VDUB for two years . Myself , CR , Lem , and booby all talked about merging since winning fall ball . Some of your guys thought it was time to break up and I had openings . You were going to the Harris ,mike to the NAH and five guys to the VDUB . At the last minute you guys were gonna get back together for the sake of a couple guys and the guys who wanted to go said I'm gone . Jrs could have still had a team without the three that left . Two weeks before the tourney I told walker they were gonna play with us to get to know the guys they were going to Florida with . I even told him I would give him EW and a couple guys who weren't coming with us , he would have had a deeper better team . Jon and Neil wanted to play with us. You guys were in the same tourney until the Tuesday before , then I told him they were frozen on my USSSA roster that's when he switched to NSA and made a big deal . artie like i said there was no intent to damage any reputations or anythin liek that just saying that we talked before jr's even split and i told u that i was not goin to go with harris i was actually leaning towards pna but talked to bry and bry said we would have a team then u call me the next day saying duts and craig left and mikey is goin to pna. i talked with bry and we were gonna try to keep jrs together with the leftovers but people had shit goin on and couldnt always make the meetings or get a full squad with brownie needing surgery and others not being sure.
it was in no way a shot at u or saying u stole these guys i know there had been talk about us breaking up but that is almost the same thing because instead of letting the team ( jrs ) decide u put the bug in there ears and i dont blame them for doing what they did i dont not like them cuz of it i consider my jr's guys friends for life that is why i would try to get any of them to come to harris but bry had already talked to knight and it was set in stone by the time i decided that i would go to harris i tried takin bry paulie james and bixby but it was to late they have messages on there phones sayin they have spots if they wanted em.

No one here is under contract to their team except for exempt guys. Which means until the season starts everyone is a free agent. I could go to VDUB tomorrow if I wanted to. What are you offering?
Artie it's called recruiting and you do it as much as anyone. Maybe not offering perks of free hot dawgs and beer, but everyone that runs a team makes the calls and checks around. If you hear someone is not happy or that their team got someone else that plays the same position as then you would be making a call.
And getting a guy to play in a tournament is a start. Planting the seed and making a positive connection so when that guy is ready to switch teams you already have your bald head in the door.
Don't take things so seriously Artie. It's softball. Not like the guy is taking workers away from your business and costing your family money.
Don't take this the wrong way Artie. You know I love ya but I think you are making too much of this.

I do have to say after playing with both the Manwhores last fall, the PNA got a nice upgrade when they got Mike. Those guys look like miserable douchebags but I actually like them. I was kind of surprised. I now know that Mike is a quiet unibomber looking motherfucker and Ant is the loud, crazy, troublemaking one. Together they made me laugh and had a great time with the Harris last fall. Both you pricks better be playing with him this fall. I heard a rumor that Lessard wasn't playing this year for the VFW so I called him and asked what the deal was. He said he wasn't playing for anyone and was going to umpire instead. Didn't know it was that big of a deal to talk to players who AREN'T on anyone's rosters. How is that stealing players or being a weasel? Every manager wants to better their team.
Artie you should've just said something or called me instead of beating around the bush, plus he's not on anyone's roster so I don't think it's weasely. But I know you've been trying to get Damonti on your team even though you know he's playing for the Crowe. Since I've been in this league you've been the biggest weasel around between rosters and players being eligible for playoffs you take the cake.

1st of all, seems pretty harsh for a joke! I know jokes and 50 entries saying suck a dick isn't joking. While Dionne may not exactly 100% truthful at times I highly doubt he would free food, beer, playing time, handjobs, salad tossing or whatever else he is accused of. The Crowe Bar is a great sponser, but probably provide food at best 50% of the time, beer is never free, anywhere! Playing time????????? AK- arm and leg are fine; however, busted up the back. Finally have some downtime so; I got in a B/C/D USSSA league with turf fields. Doesn't look good though this year considering the back is blown out and its March already... Probably won't be home this year either; but I am trying to get back at the next opportunity. Lemdawg, BAM BAM, little Goody, old man Fiskey, an Eddie Mac and the rest of the old crew on CM team with a left field fence; yikes!! gonna be some long weekends before, during and after the games.....have fun!
