| Looking forward to another season of following Class "A" baseball, whether in person or most likely through score reporting, etc. via this website.
With that said, I'd like to thank all of the managers/players who entered scores and other team information in order for the standings to be accurate.
The majority of use on this site comes from representatives in the St. Paul and Skyline League, and that I believe is simply a product of familiarity with the site functions.
During the State Tournament, most teams did in fact enter their game stats within a day of the game's conclusion. This provided some fun tournament information that fans of Class "A" baseball (myself included) could follow from afar. It was also the first time visitors to the site could see who had the highest average, most doubles, runs scored, ERA, etc. Unfortunately, because not all teams participated, the stats weren't 100% comparable.
Regardless, it exposed an unused feature on this site, that when there is full participation, it enhances the overall Class "A" experience. I hope the involvement is there this year.
I received several e-mails from managers in the Park National and Riverview League asking me about how much they have to pay to be included on the site. The cost is zero. MaxBat sponsors the site, thus there are no additional costs to teams.
If you are a manager (or you've been designated by your team to handle the website duties) and you need a user name and password, please contact me asap and I'll set you up. Most of you should have this info already.
I'd like to hear from you too if you have any suggestions or requests regarding what you want to see on the site this year.
