| Just an idea. Not sure of how to set it up, but I wondered if there was any interest. Anybody? We ought to at least set up a game between the league champs at the end of the year.

| Every player in the FOY would have to pay $50 for the privelage of playing an MSBL team. Also, all players from the FOY teams must show proof of insurance and have a completed physical no more than 30 days old. Only Bats and Balls with official MSBL certification can be used...let's plan on another $25 per player.
And don't forget we should all pay $20 in advance to pay 4 players from the runner-up MSBL team to umpire the game.

| the funniest thing I have read on here. Those that haven't played MSBL may not get it but that's funny. They also charge a buck to post on the forum.

| I believe most of the All-stars from the MSBL play in this league. They wouldn't be able to field a team.

| True. Plus the age bracket difference, the rules difference, and the three year study it would take for the MSBL to name an official committee to name the players. Who's stupid idea was this anyway? Oh...

| It would be interesting to see an MSBL All-Star team without any FOY players.

| Could it be possible that Argus has a certain piece of lumber stuck in his posterior? That would explain his disdain of wood bats...
As far as playing the MSBL team...Would we have to have 3 teams to play them? Offense, Defense, and then all the Courtesy Runners?

| This was already settled in the BIG Memorial Tournament of 2006 when Johnny's (with a little help from Henke and Posey) coasted to the Championship over MSBL teams from the Midwest.

| I never played in the MSBL, but a guy at work does and he says it's kinda a little like real baseball, with T-Ball and sandlot rules thrown in, that's why he came to the FOY League.

| Hey "The Watcher"
A. If I had a Cheeseburger for everytime somebody called me fat...Oh, nevermind, I already have.
2. Maybe if you could play, you would be "The Player"
iii. Go back to playing Dungeons and Dragons with Argus in your woodbataphobia den.
D. If you would like to discuss this further, just PLAY in an FOY game against Johnny's. Announce yourself as "The Watcher" and we will put you on 1st Base(that's where I'll be). It will take one more pitch than it takes in MSBL

| Of course that's where you'll be. That is where the put all of the "non athletes" in amateur baseball.

| Actually we put all the FOY non-athletes in the MSBL.
That way they can play 12 less games for only about a grand more than we pay.

Hey, dufus, thanks for pointing out the obvious. Since you're an MSBL clown, obviously you pay NOT to play in FOY.
Duh.
All of our players what? The suspense is killing me.
I'm curious as to the advantages you see to playing in the msbl over foy.
Please enlighten us.

| Johnny's, when you guys played that tournament a couple years ago, I know you won, but were the games close?
Didnt you play the Bears or one of the other local msbl teams?
What was the score?
MSBL does have much better fields. Sauget, Columbia and if you're really lucky you can play the dirt infield at BMAC that doesnt have a fence.
Yippee.
Watcher, you really think the msbl has better teams?
Please. For the price of that league, it's not even close to worth it.

| Actually every player would have to fork over another 10.00 per person so the Little General can get his cut.
Foy will play 8 more games ( 32 to 24 ) before playoffs at a cost of $600.00 LESS (3000.00 to 2400.00)

| Hey fellas,
Not here to add fuel to the fire, but my team is always looking for some games. We'd come over to Cahokia and I'd love to see how we stack up to Johnny's or any other FOY team. Let me know if someone wants to put something together! My email is stlouislonghorns@gmail.com
Thanks Jay Lohbeck
