| To I'm sure the delight of most in the league and on my team, I am regretfully announcing that I have made the decision to no longer play for Patriot Oil, effective immediately. My decision is not based on my admittedly poor showing in the field this year. I've probably had more fun playing this year than most of the league's top players. My decision is based on personal reasons and on inner turmoil of the team.
It was a lot of fun to be on a winning team and to play against some of the best players I've ever stepped on a field with. I wish the best of luck to Patriot Oil through the rest of the season, and to every other team.
I still think the forums are extremely important to the league. It shows that the league has a bunch of class guys, players that just wanna have fun, and that the league as a whole has a lot of camaradarie between teams at every level. I urge everyone to keep the forums as active as possible.

| Quitting is for losers no excuse you signed onto a team you should stick it out, unless it is for uncrontrolable circumstances. Not everyone is happy about their rolls on certain teams but quitting midseason is for pussy's. I wanna play here and bat this its gay and the guys quitting are probably coming to the realization that they are not as good as they thought they were. And cant handle it.
Ryman not aimed at you. Im sure you have a pretty good excuse i just hope you have enough tapes of kirby to get you through the rest of the summer. at least now you can really get creepy and hide in the woods when you stare at kirby in his softball pants.

| My leaving has nothing to do with my role on the team or my lack of playing time. I've showed up to all but 2 games this season, and in all of them I was ready to play when called upon, though im sure a bunch of you are chomping at the bit to bring up my lack of production.
As far as Kirby goes, I've sent in my bag-carrying apprentice to take over my duties. I don't have any Kirby videos to get me through the summer, but I will be producing and directing a video to be released next spring. Its going to be titled "Kickin' it to the Kirb!: the players guide to softball abuse and ballroom dancing."
He wouldn't sign on to do the video unless I let him do the dancing stuff. Whatever, its gonna be great!

| In defense of Ryman's most recent bashing, there are certain circumstances that would justify quitting the team, especially if it has to do with family and work. Unfortunatly nobody gets paid to play unless your ballbag is gently resting on Dionne's chin. So if a guy has to work on Sundays and can no longer play I say it's OK. I believe Ryno went throgh the same thing. My boy CA is going through the samething now. Granted he is not the best player on the team, HINSKE is, but he's a solid player who loves competition. He not even the second best player on the team, HINSKES morning shit is, but my point is any guy can contribute and have fun and a guy like Ryman who eats, sleeps, and masturbates softball probably had a good reason. Now if a guy just flat out quits because his team isn't good or he isn't good or doesn't like the team then thats a bitch move and deserves everything thats being dished out

| if you are on the same team as keenan the best you can possibly be is second best player on the team. Come on now. I like that Hoxie dude. I think he has lb4lb potential. The playoffs his year are going to be outstanding. And one of the great 8...look around, next year you aint making it. This Aplus team is looking like they are gaining steam and I think Delpadre is close to learning how make finish out games against tough teams.

| I motion that we move the league to saturday mornings to accomodate RYMANS schedule. I have it on good word that its not work related per se ..hes fighting crime till after midnight on Saturday and needs his Bat Sleep on sundays. The RyBat. Of course, that pretty much makes Hinske the Joker...so it kind of all falls into place. Gotta go. lb4lb.......out

| If the "crime" I'm fighting is people unfolding clothes, then yes im doing my part. What I did that caused my needing to leave the league was I made myself available for work on sundays (time and a half!). So there will be the occasional day I'll stop by to cheer the team on, and I'll still practice whenever I can. Im gonna make sure to be there for the game against Botelho's cause I can't go through the season without meeting iota4iota. Also, I will more than likely return for fall ball. Anyone who knows me knows that if I had a choice I'd be playing 7 days a week. I'd rather get 2 at bats a weekend for Patriot Oil than not play at all. But I also need to pay my rent. So unless someone has a job for me (not that kind of job, Dutilly), I had to make a choice between my 2 teams and Patriot had to go. I'll see everyone when I can. Good luck to all sunday
