Thanks for taking to the road this weekend and playing some good football in philly! Saturdays win over 2007 National Champion METRO DAWGS was impressive and turned alot of heads. Tournament ball is a bit different from league ball and I hope you guys take the positives out of the weekend and adjust the negatives! Keep playing your game and pick each other up and you will continue to make a name for yourselves.

Good luck in Willimantic this weekend!

This past weekend the New England Flag Football Association (NEFFA) along with the Liberty Bell Classic formed a collaboration and hosted the 2nd ANNUAL LIBERTY BELL CLASSIC in Philadelphia, PA.

This event took place in the heart of urban Philadelphia at George Pepper Middle School. It was a picturesque event in the middle of the “dog days” of July with temperatures reaching mid to high 90’s all weekend long. There were a total of seventeen teams in this event with eight competing in the “A” division, while another nine teams competing in the “B” division.

Saturday’s POOL PLAY was highlighted by:
The Young Guns (New Britain, CT) upset of the 2007 National Champions Metro Dawgs (Woodbridge, VA). Omni Fitness (Bronx, NY) and the Blue Doggs (Lansdale, PA) epic battle that went to double overtime. North Jersey All-Stars (Northern New Jersey) impressive performance in pool play. Later in the day the tournament was blessed with motivating Gospel music overheard from a nearby church.
