"A" DIVISION

#1 Real Deal (A+) - The Champs yielded up an amazing 23 points all weekend and clearly showed the 9 man world that they cannot and SHOULD NOT be forgotten. There 3 month layoff showed no sign of fatigued and or rust. Will Real Deal go on a run similar to Metro last year and this years Packers & Omni?

#2 Omni Fitness (A-) - Defense carried them all weekend long and did their best to keep Real Deals offensive firepower at bay. But to no avail did it work. Omni's offense again struggled to get in the end zone (. Aside from their terrific defense, big ups to Jon Jon who single handedly pulled a "Devin Hester." Omni reminded me of the NFL Chicago Bears

#3 Metro Dawgs (B+) - Didn't look so good on Saturday as theysurprisingly fell to Connecticuts Young Gunz team. Nasty didn't have a good game (3-4 picks). But they rebounded on Sunday with an impressive win against the Pitbulls. They ran into a tough Omni defense as they got shutout in the semi's. This team is still a clear cut team to win any tourney. I personally don't have any clues at the moment as to what they can fix. But they're a veteran team. They will.

#4 Packers (B-) - A very disappointing weekend. A nasty defeat from the hands of Real Deal in the semi's. Plus in house fighting on Saturday. They did not dominate as one would expect. They're O-Line struggled many times to give DJ the time he needed. Teams came in to play them as if every part of their team was dissected and scouted well. The Packers are just fine. They'll be hungrier the next time you see them.

#5 Blue Doggs (C+) - The hype machine and the home field advantage did not live up to the expectations. The Bluedogs are a very good team and are a notch below the major powerhouse teams. In my opinion they would be in the top 3 in that "notch". They beat who they were supposed to beat, and lost who they were supposed to lose to. They are close to be an elite team. Close.

#6 Pitbulls (C-) - Big ups to them for clawing out of that "play in" bracket. The heat, Metro's vengeance from Saturdays sloppy play, and fatigue was all a factor in them getting knocked out. They got some good athletes. Number 2 on their team is a talented player. They can only get better. Expect to see them a lot more.

#7 Young Guns (C-) - The new kids on the block from Connecticut. A strong and impressive debut this weekend. They got their taste to see how they stack up against some of the East Coasts' best. Their defense is good. They need to improve on the other side of the ball and put up points. I hope to see them around more. Another highlight about them: when they intercept a pass, all 8 players turn to animals and tries to makes sure that the ball gets into the endzone.

#8 Hood (F) - A poor performance. Very poor. As one old man said, they are a "C" team. That indeed they looked. They couldn't score and couldn't defend anyone. Their defense has been known to be the heart and soul and they looked like they needed to be in their bibles all weekend. They lacked the skills at the defensive back position to compete in this tourney. Anything positive? They still have a solid group of bigs, but they need to put the right guys behind them. After a good Ocean city tourney, they took a step backwards
