don't know if umpires are available and don't believe we have field permission for saturdays.

but something we can look into and discuss at the meeting on monday.

don't forget every game that gets moved we need umpires for...even double headers on sundays.
plus it really only works if every team does it.

It would help if more representitives showed up to meetings too. Hard to vote if we only have 6 teams show up out of 16

Depending on the situations we could at least get some games in on Saturdays at Club Jogues field. If we could at least get 2 umps then we could probably schedule doubleheaders at 10:00, 12:30, and 2:00 for 2 weeks and then make up the rest as Sunday Quadrupleheaders.

I agree with the concerns of going too late and running into problems with guy traveling to nationals.

I talked to Smitty yesterday about the Saturday games and he said that basically all the teams would have to do a make up game on a Saturday not just 2 or 4 teams. But that's tough due to availability of fields and trying to get umps to work around tournaments. The problem with playing 2 double headers on Sundays is the travel time between games. The umps don't get paid to stand around and wait for teams to show up which is shitty. As it stands now I think that we're just going to play it out as it stands meaning 3 make up weeks at the end of the season. Who knows anymore

Thanks Smitty. I am assuming that the first rainout would be scheduled first and so on.

Mr. Perry,

I believe you and I have already covered this issue via email. I do not use proper English during the summer. I am on vacation. However, if absolutely necessary, I will use it. Mr. Slezak correcting me on a typo has led to an "absolutely necessary" situation. Please advise him not make any errors in his future posts.

Screw you.

Sincerely,
Mr. Smith
