It was beleived to be heard in some parking lot over beers that Park and Tonka may have been talking trade......

....Schmitty for Paulsen was declined by Park is what I heard.

Although a Conley, Knez and player to be determined later deal for Schmitty was possible. Although such a deal would more then likely involve the following contract stipulations for Schmitttttty.

1) He enters the season as the #3 1B for Park and #4 if Reeder plays.
2) If he stated that he wanted to to slit his Park teammates throats he very well could be wearing cement shoes during the Millers annual crappie fishing contest.
3) He enters the season with no chance to be Parks DH
4) His primary role excluding injuries would be a situational left handed hitter on the Park club.
5) Park will not pay him any gas money and Schmitty needs to understand that Park only palys about ten home games versus Tonka's 38 home contests.
6) He has to shine Conley's shoes
7) He has an opportunity to be Parks #2 SS
8) He has a chance to be Parks #3 3B
9) He will play two games at two bag
10) He cannot wear multiplie wrist bands
11) He would be limited to only three pairs of batting gloves and last but not least
12) Park does not allow "FLARE"

Oh wait....one more thing he has to warm me (Conley) up in the pen......yet after May I don't do that anyway so not a big deal.

Look for Park to trade Schmitz right away to Edina or the Bulldogs, as word is out that he wants to play for every team in the Riverview at some point in his career.

Also, if the Park team is interested in shedding Paulsen's salary, it would be wise to trade him straight up to the Millers for Eckhoff. If you're going to get rid of your guy who grunts when he swings, it's best to pick up another grunter.

Too funny, if I were to be traded I would have to have some flare. This is all I have going for me now. You have look good first, right? Paulson for me would be a steal for Park. Good luck boys in state. 30-2 odds is very misleading. I don't gamble that often but if those were real odds I would have to put a lot of $ on Park. Unless, we were playing you guys.

How about this......Scmittttty Flare for...hmmmmm

Paulsen and Conley

Wait....Tonka would have to throw in Biggie.

:)

Park would never make that trade.

If Schmitty was traded to Edina he could pitch for them though....

I'd be willing to take Schmitty off of Kevin's hands for 2-dozen Diamond baseballs, 6-bats, 3-helmets, and a full tank of gas. I'm willing to throw in our remaing 5-Wilson blem balls too.

He can keep his wrist bands and flare, it will help him in his new role as third base coach. It will be great having a consistent body in the box.

Welcome aboard Schmitty...

How about Schmitz for Conley and the next good baseball player to graduate from Park High School. However, the following stipulations must be met
-Schmitz can only choose one mismatching color of wristbands. In other words, orange, black and white are okay, but only one other color will be allowed. I'm guessing he goes with red.
-In addition to pitching for Tonka, Conley must also return to East Tonka to coach Babe Ruth, as I hear his coaching record was impeccable.

Oil Can.....good stuff very nice shot at my 22-57 East tonka Babe Ruth coaching record from '94-96.

Although I did scare two dad's three coaches and we ran some trick plays such as but not limited to the hidden ball trick and the phantom pick behind second base.

Oh wait I almost forgot I was also given a three inch thick packet on the Pygmalian Theory from a disgruntled parent.

Something tells me that parent's last name could have been Randall or Hancock.
