| At 15 to nothing, I think the coach had very little to do with that one! He's not the one who goes out and plays defense, pitches or hits. Let's spread the love around for this one!
Who pitched against Wesley and who was playing in the field?
The last few games, since losing to Green Mill at the end of the season, have been fairly sloppy for the Irish. It's interesting to see the simple mistakes being made at this time since much of the year was quite solid (otherwise they wouldn't have been Skylines #2 team).
I think I'd just give props to Wesley Homes for seeing the ball extremely well on Wednesday and playing tournament caliber baseball.
I didn't see the game, but I would suspect that the Irish played "young", much the way Ron Gardenhire viewed the Twins after they were swept by the Yankees in New York.
Go out and give it another shot on Sunday and see what happens.
