| First of all I give much respect to the Pub and the only reason I posted bogus odds for them and us was to 1) have fun, 2) to pimp my own team and 3) pimp Pub whom I thought was a legit favorite to win it all.
Thing is we could play tom and Pub may beat us 10-0!
With that being said I have to vent because I heard far to much childish crapola from the dugout of Pub during our game while I was in the third base box. Granted it was not from their position players and being a pitcher I know how stupid hurlers and subs can be but .......
"If this game was played on a real field instead of a little league field it would be a different story."
How would that be is the question I ask? If we played on a little league field you would still only have two hits and three errors. We would have still hit the ball all over the place
If we would have played at Parade we still had 13 hits to your two and you made three errors to our none!
Furthermore if you boys would have made offensive adjustments and ran our pichers pitch count up further (he is a high pitch count guy) you would have had a chance. However, when you bunt down 0-9, then go three pitch at bat for the second out and then swing at first pitch for the third out that certainly does not help your cause especially when you are down.
You guys could have easily taken two innings of work off our stud but you failed to make adjustments and gave him three 5, 6, 7 pitch innings.
Had we played at Parade or any other big league dimension park the outcome would have been nearly the same.
Again all due respect and Pub does have a very solid team but when I hear donkeys mumble about foolish stuff I have to say something.....today the better team one, tom we may have not been the better team.
Word to the wise....the next time you are getting blanked and guessing at every thing while at the plate against a stud pitcher try making some adjustments.
Second of all, don't make excuses......don't say silly crap and when someone hands it to you who is a very good team like yourself try this.....
........don't walk through the line and not say any thing like you got cheated....tell your opponent they played a good game, shake their hand and then move on getting ready to win seven games in a row.
For the record that is what we would have done had you beaten us down.
Last but not least most of Pubs guys were very respectful through the line....
It was an honor to play them and I know I can speak for my teammates....we were expecting a far better contest although we are happy we won.
One more time I give your club the utmost of respect but it is real hard to stand in the box for nine innings listening to a bunch of crap from the dugout that makes no sense.
Today the better team won......on another day the other better team could have won.

If I can remember correctly we hit on the same field, so we had the same opportunity to hit the ball over the fence....We were flat out terrible!! It's easier to make excuses on why we are losing rather than face the fact that we aren't very good (on that day). Karma, Karma, Karma.

| Hurto....drama queen? How 'bout your dugout?
Life and me leaving a post at 12:45 AM...I was at home where my wife and three kids sleep enjoying my time....whatever on that.
You guys were flat but what about the performance our starting pitcher dealt out.

| Conley - first of all, you have way too much time on your hands! You will only hurt your team by taking trash about teams and there bench on here. LEAVE IT ON THE FIELD!! I am sure your teammates understand - figrue it out.
We have no excuse, you beat us up! We didnt hit all day, our pitcher was average and shortstop made two errors.
On the other hand you pitched extremely well, made all the plays and hit the ball on the barrel all day.
I have no excuse nor does anyone on my team. We were frustrated. So before you start writing on this site about my team, please understand what you are doing. (we play eachother every year during the year.) I respect Edstrom, Linstrom, Johnson, Paulson, Mo, etc. - but before this year i am not sure i have ever heard of you.
I did think the 9th inning stolen base (which ended up scoring the 10th run) was a little disrespectful. Salt on the wound!
You knocked us down but not out. worry about what you do and we will do the same. if we play again i can promise it will be a different game!

lastly, when this is all over in a week what are you going to do with your late nights when the wife and kids are in bed? will you still be on here talking about how elite you are compared to the Lyon's Pub Warriors??? In that case you might want to look into some kind of therapy. Good luck with that. Hopefully we see you weds.

| LP....I gave your team many props and do respect your club re-read my post if you are confused about that. We all know what blogs are and that the game is played on the field.
I just have a hard time listening to other teams pimp my team whether from the dugout or on the field.
Better for me to write here to vent on what I had to listen to during the game then confront your dugout.
Just like last year people get all bent out of shape so I just won't post any thing else that will make it easier for all of us.

Glad to see your late night ramblings finally irritated some people. It makes the forum more fun to read. I gotta wonder though, how come the later at night it gets, the more unnecessary extra letterzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz you use? Do you periodically pass out for like 3 seconds with your finger on the keyboard?
If you ever get bored with drunk posting, you can always drunk prank the commissioners. You know, order a pizza to Vellek's house, or send a gay escort to Loskota. That NEVER gets old....
