| In an ugly game but a damn good game our Park club came away with a W against a very solid Green Mill club.....very solid!
Green Mill was a class act, has a lot of talent and their pitcher dealt....one of the best pitchers we have seen perhaps ever.
We feel fortunate to be in the position we are in going 4-0 for the first time in 14 state tourney appearances since 1990 against a very solid field of teams.
Also, how many times in state tourney history have the teams in the winners bracket final hung out and pulled back libations together after the game?....for the most part our two clubs did not know one another going in.
The young bucks where hanging out with the OG's and we even ironed out some forum discussions.
Much props to my club for pulling out the win and props to Green Mill.
Lastly, WHO THE HELL IS CLUBBIE? It has to be a Park guy and it is not me.....my votes for this phantom poster of repeating forum messages are 1) J. Eikum and 2) Mo....after that no clue.
