| I went south to see Country Day... very strong defense led by RB/LB Cam Seichter.
Watched game film and Seaholm looked strong vs Divine Child. LB Fenton and TE Kessel wore out the Catholic League team.
Too late but will view Troy/Southfield scrimmage later.

| Why no love for Rochester? I may be a little biased, but i felt that they dominated both Avondale and Port Huron Northern in their scrimmage thrusday and played even with a good Livonia Churchill team. They lost Cribbs and Nabors which will hurt, but both quarterbacks are very talented and they have a great recieving and running back corps led by Zair HIll who is a beast. They good surprise a lot of people and give Troy a run for their money Thursday

| SOF... I agree about Hill, he's an outstanding tailback. However, I feel they lost too much up front. Good to hear the Falcons looked good last night, I expect Churchhill will be good but Avondale and PH Northern combined won 1 game last season. The Rochester QBs competing for the job are Chris Nicols (sr) and Nick Bradley (soph)... unfortunately, neither can compare with Cribbs. Losing WR Cameron Nabors doesn't exactly help either. Either way,
GO OAA!

| I realize that Avondale and Northern aren't very good, but Rochester dominated both of them, something good teams should do. Also, Nicols is a very good QB. He ran for two TD's in one game last night and gives the team another dimension. They also have Jairus Saunders and Charles (don't know last name) one scary big and the other scary fast who are great options at wideout. THis team is much faster than last year. I know hey wont contend for a championship, but i don't think they are 17 point underdogs in game 1 against Troy

| you can correct me SOF because you are closer to the program than me, but the one time I saw Zair Hill play, he was slow as molasses. Does he break a lot of tackles? I'm not doubting that he's good, but are you guys overrating him?

| SOF... point taken. You may be right on that point spread but you have to realize that I have Troy ranked #3 going into this game. Expect the line to even up closer to kickoff though.

| From what i saw at the scrimmages Thursday, Hill is more of a power back. He has good speed and good moves, but at times he was impossible to tackle. He ran 3 or 4 kids over in one play
