| I overheard some talk at the ball field on sat. and i thought i heard the Curleys coach matt say that there will not be a curleys team next year. if thats so, there would be a few good free agents worth picking up for next year. just want to know if there is any truth to this?

| The last i've heard thier might not even be a foy league next year. If not and our team doen't play in another league and if any body is interrested I'd be more than happy playing on another team that will be playing next year.

| The 35+ A's in the MSBL would be glad to have you, if you can handle 60 mph pitching.

| Matter of fact I did find a taker for next seaon Pirate 11. Like you told me their most likely won't be a team out here next year and I still would like to play ball. Sorry I'm not an old man were I could join your 38 and over league like you said you are joining next year. So don't be upset with me joining another team. Good luck in the playoffs to the pirates hope you guys go all the way. By the way 60mph is to fast and Ben I don't beleive cathing is my problem it's more likethowring the ball.

| the rumor is true i will be stepping down as manager of Curleys after this season is over. I am currently looking for someone on my team to take over the duties, i still want to play but my time of coaching has come to an end. If that does`nt happen there will be no Curleys next year. And some new info on the legion being sold. Phil Mac just called me and Archie confirmed this story as well. Phil said that a church is 99% sure they will be buying the legion and all the property that comes with it, and that the pastor of the church wants us to continue playing baseball out there, he is in the process of getting a kids football league going, and phil also said the pastor did not have a problem with letting us continue to serve alcohol. so hopefully everything works out and we can play ball next year and so on.

| Sorry to hear that you're stepping down Matt, but I know the pressure you're going through as manager. Making sure the meal money is divvied up, curfew is enforced, all the scouting reports. The hardest thing is the dispensing of discipline.....but some things you gotta do. You guys don't really think Grasle is still hurt do you? It's the Cardinal way or the highway here, and KG was given many chances. Thats all I'll say about that.

| Sorry to hear that Matt. Now who are we going to battle for middle of the road?
I guess the only thing left to say is dibs on Howard, Snow, Schmidt, Hansen, Lyon, Nelson and Rose (if he doesnt move). Just let me know what numbers you guys want.

| Since the Church is going to let us play, don't you guys think each team should send a player or two to their Church Services every Sunday. We've voted and sending Donnie Carpenter and Dennis Gurkin.

| If Gurk steps one foot inside a church, the earth will open up and swallow it.
Then where would we play?

| After we were sitting around drinking after the game the other night and Eric Walls said "church is the best place to pick up chicks, just drop a little X in the holy water and see what happens," I think we'll send someone else.

| Linck, Jeremy that clearly is violation of tampering rules. Just to be clear, there is no buying dinner for recruits. No expensive cars or jewelry. Recruits must pay for their own transportation to campus. No cash gifts. And setting them up with hot coeds is also off limits. Well maybe that last one is OK, if you know any hot coeds.
