| Nice job boys. I would like to be the one of the first guys from our league to congratulate you on your championship. You guys played great and more importantly, you kept the title in our league. It’s unfortunate we didn’t hold up our end of the bargain. It would have been so much fun to compete today in an all Riverview finals. The weather was unreal. I hope you enjoy your evening because my dumb ass is sitting in Caribou listening to Neil Diamond messing around on this damn forum. Not sure what next year has in store for most of you but I hope you are all returning to defend the title. We will be back…. PARK STATE CHAMPIONS IN 08

| Congratulations boys. A quality team that plays well and competes with class. Very deserving. Enjoy the title for 8 months before we try to catch you next year.

| "There are two kinds of people in this world those who like Neal Diamond and those who don't!"
I don't!
Congratulations Park. Very well done.
Also, congratulations to Green Mill for representing the Skyline and showing every team in the other three leagues that good baseball is played on the east-side!
Now, you all need to go back to your fantasy leagues 'til next year!

| Hats off to the guys on the Shamrocks also. Beating Minnetonka at touney time not once, but twice. They knocked the cover off the ball Saturday against Lyon's Pub and for 2 innings against Green Mill (I had to leave and Shamrocks were up 6-1, what happened?) A good run though. Oh my, that means 2 of the top 3 were from the East side. Congrats to Park.

| Thanks guys, we just hope we earn the right to defend it. I think we have a very solid league, so there's no overlooking our league and playoff competition. The good news is, if we make it we'll be battle tested once we get there.

| Battle tested??? With a team where half of the guys personally knew and played with Ty Cobb I'd have to say battle tested is an understatement! Ha!
I'm surprised half your team remembered what field you were supposed to play at and what day it is! I guess that Geritol is keeping you folks young at heart though! Congrats!
You all deserve your off-season relaxation down in Florida at the Senior Condo's!

| That's pretty good and everyone got a kick out of "Team Geritol" in one of the earlier posts.
We actually figured out our average age at I believe 30 years, 8 months with 11 guys over 33.
Not too bad for a bunch of old men...Our player & pitcher rotation really saves us or we'd never be able to make it through a season, we'd have to back off a lot on the number of games we play. Although most guys still play at least 40 games.

| I don't know about the rest of the guys, but I am going in for hip replacement next week. That will give me 8 months of rehab to be back in time for next year's opener.
