| Well they asked for it and now they are going to give it to us. After speaking with both party's a date has been set. Sunday August 24th, 2:30 at Club Jogues. RyMan vs Demonti. 10 outs, every swing that isn't a homerun is an out. USSSA legal bats only. The stakes are as follow:
1: If Ryman lose's he can not speak of Kirby in anyway till the first game of next season and then can only answer or speak about softball related questions and must purchase a case of beer of Mike's choice(domestic only)
2: If Mike lose's he must give Ryman the respect for which he would have earned and deserved and also must acknowlodge that Ryman is the greatest smack talker of all time and have a beer with him(at his exspense)in the Crow Bar
will be looking for a 3rd party umpire to judge fair, foul, homerun, or out. Eddie Martin, Ron Perry, and Rob Raymond are type we are looking for. Also, lb4lb hasn't agreed yet but he wil sponsoring the softball's for the event.
Come one & all to this galla of events and give Mertog some new Material for the the next Planet

I think the rules of the Main Event need to be altered. No way anyone should declare Ryman king of smack. Not with me, Mertog, and some of the others that carried this smack board from the day of its creation still around.

| there was a homerun hitting contest last year...and I believe many of the above mentioned were in it and only Rockstar and Pete smashed as I recall. But, short field, consistently hit it out? I take Anthony Mans. He used a Juggernaut last year and made the final round which I think incl Lemme, Rock and Pete and Dutilly. The rest of you, guaranteed, will choke.

| mr.gopher, the original deal that ryman and i had was that if i win, i get a case of beer and ryman is not allowed to post on this site till the 09 summer season, if he wins nothing changes, he can post as he wants, and gets the bragging rites of beating me. thats the deal, no add ons, and also i would like to move the time to 130 because i need to pick my daughter up at 330 so we need to have enough time to pull this off.

| I can do 1:30. I had only picked 2:30 so guys that have the late games could come if they want to. Something we haven't thought about, Mike, what're we doing in the event of a tie? Another round of 10 outs? Shorter rounds of 5 outs until a clear winner? Whichever works for you works for me.
Also, someone should tape the event so we can get a video up on the site.

| Ok hows this each team sends at least 1 2 man team to enter 100.00 to enter winning team takes half and the other half donated to some kind of charity maybe like leg extensions for the lawn man so when he sits on the bench his feet touch the ground... but for real there are plenty of charities that need money like maybe sponsoring a family for christmas or whatever the winning team chooses i think we are all fortunate enough that half of us have 3 or 4 different 300 bats in our bags that paying 50 bucks a piece or 100 ateam wont strap us and that half is going to a good cause

Bobby I think that is a great Idea but not sure if there is enough time to get it together. But I will say this, if after Ryman and Mike have there thing at 1:30 then i am game for anything. I don't want to take away anything that Artie does as far as a real derby but if it is for Charity then yes...lets do something. | Gopher, go check on Evil Sports. They make good quality softballs, cheaper than a lot of brands, and have a wide range of compressions and cor's. They also ship pretty fast because I think they're in like connecticut. If you need to do a faster shipping, I'll pick up the shipping cost.
