| With the playoffs approaching and rain in the forecast, what are the tiebreakers?
Head to Head, and then...

| The second tie-breaker is who drank the most beer and if you guys are tied with the Cardinals, it may have to be flip of the coin. The Cardinals may be the one though. We've had a number of 3 pm games and half the Cardinals are still there from their 10am game.

| As things are tightening up at the top, the bottom and everywhere in between I'd like to know the answer to this as well.

| Though I would assume it would be run differential in the head to head matchups.

| Or total runs scored or total runs allowed. Could be a case made for either of those since everyone played everyone else the same number of times.
When are we going to find out??

| Runs allowed is the only thing that makes sense - otherwise you're penalizing teams that 10 run someone.

| Seriously though, how about a ruling on something that should have been decided months ago.
Please don't wait until ALL the games are played, just in case.

| I've heard that it is head to head run differential. Just as 25 Buds suggested.

| In the past I believe it has been:
1. Wins, losses (obviously)
2. Head to head
3. Run differential
Not sure if this has been changed this year, as I was not at the meeting. If it was not brought up at the league meeting this year, then it should default to this.

You can see why I'm not 100% confident.
I would like Archie to post it. Or at least Argus.

| Any team that ends the season tied with another should automatically be eliminated from the playoffs. That'll teach 'em.

| Yeah. Our playoffs started Tuesday night. We had to forfeit. Apparently we could not even get a player off the street to start the game. (we had 8) Maybe we'll have 9 for you guys tomorrow. I'm not promising anything though.

| If there needs to be a coin flip between any teams, I think it should take place at a bar or some other type of establishment. Invite the league. Make it a real big deal like the NBA draft lottery. Is there a league wide coin that gets flipped, like the Super Bowl? The Budweiser logo on one side and the Curley's orange on another? Do the two teams decide what coin? Penny, NICKEL, Quarter?

| Nickel, that's funny...
Now, how about an idea of what is going on next week, before guys head out of town for the weekend. I won't have computer access over the weekend and more than a 1 or 2 day notice to get my guys together for a PLAYOFF game would be nice and hopefully not too much to ask.

Hey Big Papi, if we win tonight, I'm going to get a Marucci. No, you can't use it.

| THAT'S HOW I ROLL. THAT'S THE ONLY WAY TO GO. WHEN IT HAS YOUR NAME ON IT, IT'S YOURS BABY. MAKES IT THAT MUCH SPECIAL. I KNOW I WENT OVER BOARD WITH THEM THIS YEAR BUT I NEEDED TO FIGURE OUT WHAT I LIKED. OTHER THAN THE TWO I BROKE SWINGING IN THE CAGE OF ALL PLACES, I HAVEN'T BROKEN ONE ALL YEAR IN CAHOKIA OR FOREST PARK IN GAME SITUATIONS. JUST GOING TO MAKE ME THAT MUCH BETTER. AND BESIDES, IT'S FUN!

| Goo Goo Here we go:
1-8 tues 9-02-08 2-7 wed 9-03 3-6 thur 9-04 4-5 sat 9-06 10am their game one
Every game will rotate behind this sequence. There are three series that could end saturday. If we have dance partners the next round can start. The 4-5 series game two takes precedent on sunday. They will be the 10am game. If there are game three's they will fall in line high-low.
There will be short notice because of disjointed schedule. This is the price paid for welcoming the giant killers.
Let the giant killing begin.
