| Good week of football coming up very interested to see both the Southfield/Harrison and Troy/Clarkston games.
Any thoughts on these particular games?

| The Troy Clarkston game is the game of the week! Should determine who's the contender, and who's a pretender. Clarkston needs this game desperately and Troy knows it. The winner sits in the early cat bird seat for the Red. IMHO

| Well said Den... this may surprise a few folks but Southfield isn't exactly going to Harrison as an underdog. Having viewed both teams going in to week 3, this one should be a dandy. The Jays should have all the offense they'll need until they match up with Adams but Coach Herrington usually has something up that sleeve of his, so I never count the Hawks out.

| The Troy/Clarkston game should provide some real insight into exacting where Troy is in the rebuilding of thier offense. Losing three 1000+ rushers to graduation and returning only 2 offensive starters from the 07 season provides for a great deal of inexperience. This game will be a very physical and hard fought with both teams understanding the significance of this early contest. Looking forward to watching this one! Get there early because Colt Stadium will be packed!

| 73 points in two games? How does Clarkston give up 26 against Athens? I saw Athens play SC and they were pitiful. I agree that it will be a great game. It will surely determine what these two teams are made of. This is the week that separates the pretenders from the contenders.

| I think this will be a very good game as an inexperienced Troy offense goes against a severely undersized Clarkston defense, and an outstand Clarkston offense takes on a usually staunch Troy defense. I think the home field advantage holds and Troy finds a way to win. Should be a great game either way.

| I also failed to mention Troy's special teams could be the difference maker. I think their opponents have started from the 20 on every Troy kickoff.
As for the Southfield/Harrison game I have yet to see either play in person. I have a feeling Southfield avoids the upset and wins a tough one.
