| Soon after I took this picture I was standing with Fiskey in between Artie and Tommy. Fiskey looks around the room, leans over and says to me "You know you and I are the baddest asses in here. We could clear this place out". At that point I took my cue and pulled a Stevens by sneaking out unnoticed.
Apparently I left just in time.

| Congratulations VFW. I was on my over there when I was overcome with nausea and had to speed home to Cranston where I immediately puked twice. I guess 18 beers and three pitchers of mudslides at PNA the night before wasn't the ideal way to prepare for the finals, but it didn't matter the way you guys hit the ball. For us to win, we needed our A game and hope we caught you on a B-/C day, but we played a D game and you guys played the A game.
I can't believe I got only 5 at bats in a doubleheader. GT had 5 in the first 4 innings of game 1! Well, good year anyway as my old, fat body made it through my 21st consecutive season without an injury.

| thanks guapo and sorry to hear you were hung over. My only regret is that u couldnt join us out. I bailed a bit early ( around 7pm) How much time did i miss artie and the others at sandy bottom by? I left the Vdub cuz all that smoke fuckin kills me.

| Strangely, I wasn't hungover for the game. That hit me afterwards. I was probably still a bit drunk as proven by my first inning outburst when I somehow managed to catch Riley's line drive at my scrotum. Sorry about that by the way. Out of character for me and certainly not done with any ill will.
I'm glad I at least manage to get 3 or 4 hits so I didn't feel too guilty about showing up half in the wrapper at 9:59 AM.

great bunch of guys in the coventry finals. congrats to the guys who won, extra special congrats to the guys who got there first sunday moring championship. and so everyone knows dutilly cheats and thats why we love him.
