| Congratulations to VFW/Distephano for rtheir victory and their remarkable clinic on how to hit a softball. Dutilly, EW and Pete I have to be 3 of the better hitters inth state. I want to see a shortstop better all round than GT..our leagues Derek Jeter ( have you met his girlfriend? complete with Italian accent? ). My favorite player in the league is Jay Johnstone and has been for 5 years. I am not sure that he has ever made an out against us and I am CERTAIN that he has never missed a ground ball...wheter playing 3rd, SS or 2nd. Duffy is only arguably the best right handed hitter that we know..Tommy pitched a great game and we all know he sizzles the ball as well. Fernandes and Goat are superior corner defenders and also smack the ball around and Riley goes line to line with laser authority making him nearly impossible to defend. Lets not forget Artie..the straw that stirs the drink. I dare say that even with all their talent Artie is the gut that keeps them fired up. Never mind the now lengendary Wash Oak field choice. Great great year for coventry softball in general. I personally had a lot of fun and look foward to Fall Ball esp first week when I walk Hinske 8 times!! See you around.

| HAHAHA i will take your walks as a team player and coach cant pitch around the new and improved crowe team. I was not in attendance due to the fact that it is now hunting season and my animal friends are far more important than you and your october softball.

| I just noticed Big Ern has a Botelho Sports uniform shirt on. And every damn one them has a Botelho Sports Logo on their sleeve AND, the tent they were standing under during the rain was provided by..yep..you guessed it..Botelho Sports. So, needless to say...I have won again. Three Championships in a row. in '09 I am def sponsoring Delpadre and/or Harris or whatever comes out as Crowe Bar/Sandy Bottoms next year..my 3 early picks for 2009 Champs

| thanks bob you guys are a much better team than the scores would indicate. I think we just caught you guys on an average day. I expected a much tighter series than that.

| Lets face it, had we played you at the Nike Site we would have beat you two out of three. Sully was just here and he gave me the update on your gloating this morning.." I was 12-12 with a 487 foot bomb off Daren's rolling breadbox ( its an Element )" I reminded how you slid into home and was stopped cold by a 5 foot stone wall and tagged OUT!..thus keeping the score to a more respectable 43-8 than what would have been an embarrassing 44-8

| i did say i hit a bomb no mention of distance or the breadbox however. that is purely lb4lb like speculation or should i say salesmanship. i just said i went 11 for 11 or 12 for 12 off dean and laughed to sully that dean kept telling me "i thought i knew how to pitch you" he must have said that to me three times in the short time i seen him on the field and off.

| exhibition game to start next season 1 week before hand vfw roster from this year vs. your roster from this year (in case some of us are on different teams)
