| Who goes further? I believe Southfield because of team speed and running game.

| i actually think adams will just because of experience in the post season, i wouldnt count southfield out at all though, very talented team over there, but i see adams gettin pretty far into the playoffs, mayb not all the way but pretty in depth, southfield im not so sure if they definetly have the capibility to do so, just dont know how they will b after the regular season

| If Southfield is D1 for playoffs, I think they go further than Adams, Adams should be D2 and could get stuck with Brother Rice/DeLaSalle in the 1st or 2nd round, and that could mean an early exit. If Southfield is D2 also then who knows.
It starting to get very very interesting.

| Rochester Adams...without a doubt has more weapons, better QB, outstanding wideouts. Do not be fooled by the Southfield game. Adams is very good and will be a favorite for the state title D2.

| Southfield won't be d1, enrollments not big enough. 1655 per mhsaa. it will take somewhere around 1750 or higher to be d1.

| Boon I am not fooled by the Southfield game. I'm not sure Adams has more "weapons" I'm not even sure Adams is the better team. Adams will obviously be a favorite because they have been there before and are a perennial power in the area, but dont tell me Adams is definitively better than Southfield, or any team such as DeLaSalle, Brother Rice, or even a Chippewa Valley who may also be D2. They are very very very good, and could make a run, but we dont know that for sure at this point, there are many good team in this area who with the right draw could knock out Adams.

| geralldd,
U may be correct! There r alot of teams on the east side of the state that r capable of going far in the playoffs. We will not know for sure until these teams have a chance to play each other. However I believe Adams is capable of beating all the teams u mentioned. Is Adams a perfect, unbeatable football team..No , but they r certainly one of the favorites to take the D2 crown..and nothing will change my mind until they get beat!

| upandover is absolutely correct. Both programs will be Division 2.
Adams and Southfield would see one another in a district final or in a regional (more likely). One of them will be eliminated by the 3rd round. Similar to Brother Rice and Adams last year.
At this point I'd take Adams, who'd be at home this time around, 27-14.

| Scouts ...interesting point. So Adams and Southfield would meet sometime during the D2 playoffs and certainly for the District Championship if both teams were undefeated at that point in the playoffs. Re-match would be interesting and a chance for Southfield to revenge their loss to Adams. In a rematch I have Adams winning 35 - 21. This does not take away from the fact that Southfield is a very good team this year and maybe the 2nd best in the conference.
