Im not talkin just rochester and adams, those r just two teams i saw last week play, but ne team really. just curious to see what u guys think

I think Farmington will upset Harrison. There very young but have great team speed. There schedule was rough the 1st 3 games for a young team. Southfield 35 to 20 played them tough. Had Groves 13 to 7 in the 4th till there running back had 2 long td runs. Then Adams away and got killed. They are an exciting team starting 8 sophmores on offense and 7 on defense. They are growing up fast.

If Stoney Creek gets their Mojo back they're capable of beating Groves. They're a bunch of physically strong guys...so I'm not sure why they haven't been able to hold the opposing teams down. Any thoughts?

joe,
i agree, stoney has a lot of physically strong players, two that come to mind are menzo and fisher, both r two great athletes and are exciting to watch them on the field

Lathrup over West Bloomfield would be a mild upset...and could happen.

Berkley over Ferndale an upset...not out of the question.

If Rochester springs an upset win over Southfield that would be the biggest, hugest, upset in the conference this year. Southfield loaded with speed particularly at the running back slots. I will be intested to see the score of this game?! If the Falcons aren't careful this could be a blow out.

with rochester coming off a big win over stoney creek they r gonna b pumped, mayb a lil too much possibly, come out to cocky in a sense, but at the same time they could do the exact same thing they did to stoney, only this time it would b on their home turf

Southfields running game is strong, and Rochester can't stop the run. Huge ground game numbers for Southfield. Southfield 42 Rochester 14

very true, i saw southfields running back against stoney and adams, very quick and smart running back, along with their back up #32, kids a sophmore and came in against stoney and he alone had two touchdowns, so yea southfield does have a strong run game, it will b interesting to see what rochester coaches try to do to stop this very good run game of southfield

They need to run a 3 man d-line with 5 linebackers and 2 corners and a free safety. Then move and stunt the linebackers and play the corners man to man. Play 2 linebackers in the middle and stunt 2 linebackers on right then left, rotating them to keep there blocking off balance.

I'm liking the Rochester upset possibility solely becuase of the mental aspect. The falcons are finally back to the form they were at the begining of the year and have a lot of confidence but are certainly not overconfident. SOuthfield is coming off a tough loss and may over-look Rochester. Anything can happen

i like it rccola, dunno what the coaches are gonna do over there, hopefully something along those lines, southfield really can not think they can just roll over rochester, rochester is gonna bring all they got, and if southfield isnt careful they could possibly lose this game tomorrow nite

Good luck to all the teams tonight! Read through the various 'picks'...maybe there'll be some surprises this evening to shake things up a bit. Did anyone see the poll www.freep has regarding Adams? I'll be at the Groves/Stoney game - got a personal asset on one of the teams!

I'll look for you there Roc, I'll be filming the action.

Scout, you must be with the Adams staff... they don't let anyone in that tiny box. Not a friendly atmosphere for outsiders at all. Just my personal opinion as I've been there many times.

Ill be in the stands in my normal spot next to the Adams band. I would not mind going to the Lk Orion vs Troy game but Im just to addicted to watching the Adams offense light things up. With offense like this who needs defense....joking just JOKING! Have a great night under the lights everyone.

Upset for tonight's game - Stoney Creek 30 Groves 14. Stoney came on strong early on in the first quarter...kind of the same thing that Rochester did to them last week. Stoney dominated all four quarters. Not sure what the rushing and receiving stats will show, but I don't think Groves racked too many yards up. It was good to see Stoney get their Mojo back. Any other scores to report?
