| Not sure this is the "best" because it usually doesnt have much riding on the line state/playoff wise, but without a doubt one of the most intense and true rivalries is between Troy and Tory Athens.

| Kinda like the Tory v. Athens game, i'd like to think ROchester vs. Adams is a big rivalry. The game is never real close but it is always very intense with huge crowds.

| I must say, I've been to both schools plenty in the past and several times this year.... same old story.
A good one too, Adams loaded up with passion/feel for the game and Rochester overflows with spirit/unity through the house. This is a positive experience for anybody lucky enough to be there.
I've always found Rochester to be one of the kindest places (OAA) to attend a game as a neutral fan.
Adams, as an environment, is always rather standoffish and appears to have a fixation with giving nothing away to opposing teams (as if it matters). I've heard of a scout filming from the Highlander press box but never actually saw it with my own eyes.
Unfriendly... for me, Clarkston comes to mind. Not necessarily passion there but a nastiness/negativity throughout the air. They do know their football, don't get me wrong. I've been there a lot and it's rings true.
Stoney Creek used to be much like Rochester but has become more like Adams of recent.
My favorite place for an OAA battle would be Lake Orion, but the LO hype and crowd over flow are way too exhausting. Spirit is cool, overhype isn't.
In my opinion, Pontiac Wisner Stadium is the class of Oakland County, Southeast Michigan and beyond. I know the improvements are few and far beyond, It's just a personal thing with me. I bet I've been there for 50 games over the years and can remember some colossal battles between Brother Rice and CC, Pontiac Central from the late 90's, the playoff matches over the years... by the way, WHEN are the playoffs coming back to Pontiac?!?

| Very interesting critique on Rochester community. Some of what u say OAAScouts.. I understand and have seen it myself. Rochester is such a mix of Yocals and Millionares it cracks me up. It makes for some real funny extremes. I could tell some humorous stories about my dealings with fellow Adams Fans (Adams Family)... But in the end all are good hearted and basically good natured. I have come to love this community with all its diversity.. and root for all the Rochester Schools ..Yes even the Falcons...YEP a True Rochester SLAPPY ..I admit it!!

| Agreed Rochester and Stoney could be a very competitive rivalry in the future. Also, i may be a little biased but the Rochester student section (S.O.F.) is much better than the one at Adams and always has been.
