| like getting rid of the over the middle guy... everyone will say it protects the pitcher...fa la la la .. bullsh*t.. more then half the teams don't even play there over the middle guy over the middle ... lets do away it...

| The meeting isn't going to be about things like getting rid of the over the middle guy, it will revolve more around finances, and the future of the league without Helen.
No one seems to realize just how much she did. I assume someone will have to step up and fill the void. This will include securing fields and permits, and insurance. Keeping track of finances and getting accounts signed over to them.
Issuing of checks for the playoffs for the last week of fall ball and handing out the balls. I would also venture to guess we have to find out just where Baxter stands and if he wants to continue, if not we will have to elect a new president which will have dominoe effect, meaning a new vice president, and perhaps secretary/treasurer.
If Baxter wants to stay, we still need someone to step up as treasurer, since Ian is the new vice president. I think Baxter, Ian and Rob Raymond could handle the job nicely. If Baxter decides he can't continue, Ian for president, Rob vice president and my choice would be Bob Botelho or Kevin Dolan in the tresurer/secretary position.
So lots of important things on the slate which are far more pressing.

| mert i agree but i think rob raymond should be secretary/ treasurer totally trust worthy and he knows guy levebre and all the things that are dealt with town fields and so on. bob botelho and kevin dolan are great reps for coventry slow pitch . and if baxter steps down hands down ian for president this is a serious meeting hope all teams attend
