| Is it just me or do we have some cheating ass refs in this league every week its the same shit. no excuses my raiders have not been playing up to the potential we are capable of but when we played the steelers we showed we could play with the best. these refs get high drink and i think some of them might be smoking crack. I propose we get rid of these sorry ass bastards and get some refs who dont choose sides and let the players decide who wins or loses week to week. futhermore we pay too much money in ref fees and league fees for this bullshit. Also why are the refs not paid from our league fees . if nobody else does i will personally launch my own investigation

| I believe the Refs are good and dont do bad jobs. I also do believe that a very select few have certain agendas, and favor teams no doubt... That call at the end of the Steelers-Bulldogs game last week was crazy...this dude made a pass interference call on this dude from 40-50 yards away!!! when the other ref that was right there called it clean...I mean that should never happen..ever...

| It's real easy to talk S%$T about the officials on the message board but how many of you would be able to do their job. 2 weeks ago, I had to fill in as an official and it was hard as hell. These guys do a very good job overall and do so while taking alot of mouth from us players.
For those who have made it around to different tournaments or have played in other leagues will tell you, OVERALL, we have a good officiating team out their. There will always be missed calls or bad calls, NO-ONE is perfect!
And I will say that Ray and his crew are always willing to listen and make changes when spoken to at the right time and in the right manner. We have had some growing pains this season but I think from week to week it's gotten better!
So if anyone is looking to become an official, we are accepting applications, but I don't anyone wants to be in their shoe's

| after reading some of your comments i feel like who ever believes that the refs be cheating dont no the game of football, or better yet dont no sports. Since u were young your fucking coach always said if your doing what you have to do at the end of the fucking game what the refs say wont matter. So i say to all who's bitchen, get your fuckin game up an stop complaining. You might not be a CHAMPIONSHIP, M.V.P kinda guy such as my self (lol) but we still play in day same league.

| Yo swine boy who you talking all greasy too you know what i do on a weekly basis. i was doing this while you were still watching cartoons on saturday morning eating corn flakes with no milk lol. now all jokes aside you know these refs cheat and this league is substandard thats why its only 8 teams when i started playing in the mid 90's with my brother chris and kendall "swin there were almost 20 teams so what that is telling me there must be something really wrong.

If there has been any problem with the officiating it has been due to the merger of two leagues, with slightly different rules. Corruption? You gotta be kidding me. There has only been 1 game that I have seen where the officials had an impact on the outcome of the game.....and it was a judgment call, that should have been discussed. If you really think our officials are that poor, you should check out some of the other leagues.
As far as the amount of teams.... We had 16 in the spring and will have at least that again next spring. In the fall we lose some teams to the Waterbury league.
Yeah there used to be alot of teams in the 90's, but when those guys got old and retired nobody stepped up to keep those teams going. It has nothing to do with the refs or the cost.
When we came together this past year, the biggest challenge we have had is convincing teams, old and new, that we have a positive,safe environment here in Hartford to play in. Whatever teams,fans or spectators were here in the 90's left there mark on the area as being a league of fighters and thugs...rather than of athletes and MEN.
Everyone wants to complain, but no-one ever wants to take responsibility for their own actions. You want a better league but don't want to play by the rules...you want a say in the rules, but don't attend open meetings to discuss the rules.
As far as cost is concerned, every team gets a minimum of 11 games(as many as 13) for $525.00. Again I will tell you, check around and see what other leagues are charging and what your getting for your money.
We encourage your input and concerns, however uninformed or misguided statements aren't helping anyone.

| Sorry you feel the refs let you down, all we can do when officiating a game is call what we think we see. In retrospect there were a couple of calls that could have gone either way,the two pass interference calls could have been illegal contact, but after confering with all the refs both balls were ruled catch-able which you know. The play where rocket got up and ran in to the endzone before he was touched was close, but your player should never stop playing until you here a whistle, which you know. The last play was also close on your reciever where there was no pass interference CALL. I usually don't respond to complaints about refs, but when all was said in done the game went to overtime and both teams had a chance to win. As an official we are out there to spot the ball and keep the time, we try not to have an impact on the outcome of the came, but unfortunately it happens sometimes. I have been PLAYING/COACHING/REFING flag football in Conn. for 25 years now, I can honestly say CT. BULLDOGS ARE ONE OF THE MOST TALENTED/PROFESSIONAL/ORGANIZED/SPORTSMANSHIP TEAMS I have seen in a long time. But don't TAINT your image by COMPLAINING about officials it LESSENS your IMAGE. AND REMEMBER WE AS REFS ARE NOT PERFECT AND WILL MAKE MISTAKES AS WILL YOU AS PLAYERS, NO ONE IS PERFECT

| Yes, we do have a good reputation as a team that keeps our mouth shut and plays. The fact that you did respond shows me that even YOU knew the last 7 calls were a little ridiculous, and yes shit happens on a field....and like my man PIG says, you can't let the refs decide the game for you, but your crew completely decided how those last moments of the game were going to go. There is no way that you can deny that.

| Your response to my email is not the response I was looking for and it is exactly why I don't post comments on this board or respond to complaints , but because your guys are such a class act, AND YOUR TEAM felt they were jilted I felt the urge to respond, it will never happen again.
