| With the Fall Season down to it's final game (Good luck COWBOYS and CHARGERS), we have already begun planning for the Spring '09. Although we had what I would consider a very good league this fall, there is always room for improvement and growth. We will be working hard to make those improvements and build on this past year in the months to come.
What I am asking all of you is to envision what COULD BE this Spring!
What if..........we were able to draw on all the teams from around the state. During the fall there are many different leagues with alot to offer......but in the spring there are limited options. So why can't we get all these teams together, playing the same style (9-man ineligible), with 1 official set of rules, multiple sites and tons of competition!
I have already spoken to numerous team captains and organizers from outside the GCFFA and have gotten a lot of positive feed back in regards to this very idea.
What we need is your help with contacting teams, organizers, commissioners, players, etc...Many of us play in these different leagues and styles on saturdays, after our games sundays, during the off season and indoors. Let's spread the word for this spring, or allow us to get these teams to participate by getting us contact info or directing them to our info.

DAWGS (Enfield)
GENERALS (Seymour)
OLD SKOOL (Waterbury)
TITANS (Bridgeport)

STUNNAZ (Waterbury)
Not to mention that we have already been speaking with teams from the New Milford area, Middletown and Southington that have all expressed interest in joining OUR 9-man.
I know that as a player this would get me fired up and excited about the upcoming season. If anyone shares the same mentality and I think most do....have anyone interested contact us during the upcoming off season.

| Chris I gave a guy your number about getting a team this spring.. He's from southington and he feels he can enough guys. Just like you I am hoping for more teams. Just a heads up in case he actually calls..
Also good luck to the cowboys and (my other team. lol) chargers this weekend...
Is there a chance we could set up a knights versus th winner of this game??? hat way there will be only one team that can truly say they won this fall?

| obviously if we get this game set up the knights would be down to play...if not, i wanna know when these captains meetings are set for because i am definitely going to propose that the games are longer...i know people defend the fact that the league set up rules are in line with the out of state tournament rules but honestly, fuck that, if we want to have the best league possible (and i think we have the potential to do that with the teams that are talkin about getting involved) then we need to move towards having longer games...we pay all that money to ball and i know some of you guys can back me up on this when your team loses the toss and the other team has a long drive, then your team goes three and out (FUCK) and its basically halftime after that...ive said it before, that is some bundy shit right there...we need to look to having either 4 quarters of 15 minute ball or extended halves...i know chris tacked on like 2 minutes or sumthin this past fall but i am still looking for longer games...anyone else with me on this movement? cheif? swin? pigg? big jon? oh yeah and chris lets find a good spot to have these meetings not somewhere thats convientient for you out in pistol wavin new haven, heh, thats all for now, happy hollidays fellas and good luck tomorrow

| There was never a meeting in New Haven...3 in Glastonbury and 1 in North Haven. Stop yapping with your run-on posts and get out and play some football.
