| We will be playing in the 18+ division for sure. After that, like I posted on here, I'm still not 100% sure, but we are leaning towards the msbl. I haven't put any money down anywhere and until that happens we're not officially in any league. Unless of course we're kicked out of yours, Chief44.

| Archie is in the process of setting up a meeting with the new owners.That way he will have all the info before our league meeting. The new owners want us to continue playing .

| I have met with the new owners and there will be baseball in Cahokia in 2009. We will operate under the same perameters as before.
The league fees will stay the same.
There will be a concession stand operated by the new owners. They will not sell alcohol, but will have all the other ammenities. Alcohol will be permitted to be brought into the facility with the stipulations that we exhibit adult behavior. They ask that the empty cans be disposed of properly and the area be policed after the days events. They also ask that it be consumed in non -descript thermal mugs. I think can coolers will be acceptable. We will be enforcing " the no alcohol in the dugout rule". This rule has always been in the by-laws but rarely enforced.
They say they are going to make capital improvements to the facility. They are going to put baseball lights on our field and already started to set a schedule to have this completed by opening day. They have already remodeled the bathrooms with new toilets, sinks with soap and towel dispensers. The bathrooms have been re-painted. They are going to bring in rock for the parking lot and red dirt for the infield. They also have plans to replace all perimeters fences to the field.
The league meeting will be Wednesday, 7pm Feburary 11, 2009 at Mac's Levee Inn #7 Water Street, North Dupo. For all the locals, it is the old Lou and Michelles. Directions available upon request.
